"I can’t rate this place more highly, Christmas can be a period of stress and can be sometimes unpredictable with parcels not arriving on time. I am on the other side of the planet in Scotland I wanted to get my fiancé some oil paints as she’s just starting to get back into painting. I emailed inquiring about delivery and they went above and beyond to make sure my fiancé got her gifts on time for Christmas and the lengths they went to brought a tear to my eye. Thank you once again for everything yous all did and for the swift replies. Happy holidays!"
"If you’re at all artistic, and you don’t stop at Rochester Art Supply when in town / in the area, well, that’s your loss. This may very well be THE best art supply shop between NYC and Chicago. We made the trip down from Toronto just for this - Why? Wander into the back room… notice all the cabinets … and begin opening drawers. The pastels. So. Many. Pastels. It’s just mind boggling the extent of the range of pastels - your mind simply can’t process it. The ranges and selections of the pastels - and paints, papers, inks, materials - is broad and deep and stunning. Helpful friendly staff rounds out a brilliant shopping experience. Recommended x 3!"
"I finally checked this store out. I wanted to see what items they sold for two reasons. One The Art Store in Henrietta closed down and two I recently started liking fountain pens and I was curious if they might have any in their inventory. Spoiler alert, they did. I chatted with an employee who gave me a tour of the store and showed me their extensive paper collection. It was very impressive. Back to the fountain pens, I did see one I liked. I debated purchasing it left the store and headed back to my truck. I turned around and walked back into the store and purchased the fountain pen and refill cartridges It wasn't very expensive it's very nice. It's actually a student's beginner fountain pen from Pelikan. I don't know if I'll return to Rochester Art Supply, but I'm glad I finally went."
