"Lived in many different apartments over the years with no issues. My girlfriend and I did a year lease and then extended two months while we waited for our house purchase to go through. Everything went smoothly on the surface until a few months after we left Sheridan. We received letters that we owed an insane amount of money to them unpaid. Come to find out they accused us of owing 2 months' rent AND stated we damaged the carpet. After pressing the issue they admitted that they "mistakenly" didn't see one of our payments on their own payment system when we had proof and were not keeping track of the fact that they let us sign a new contract that ended the lease on the last month we paid. Finally, not once did we ever receive proof that the carpet was damaged.. which it was most definitely not and we came into the apartment with it in less than stellar shape to add to it. We take a lot of pride in leaving an apartment in the same shape we left it and even went to the work to resolve the false debt claim with Sheridan BEFORE it went to collections, which, surprise, we were ghosted/ignored by their staff after a few emails. It's hard enough right now with post-pandemic shortages, inflation, and a budding recession. Now we have to add a lawyer on top of all that to fight off the false debt claim, a collections agency coming after us, and the fear that our credit will be ruined. Hope you're happy making a military service member paying their way through college right now and working their butt off as an intern struggle all because you wanted to play games and NOT do your job. Please avoid this place at all costs. UPDATE 11/29/2022: Shortly after posting this review for Sheridan Village apartments Ann Sullivan requested we reach out to her to discuss the issue. She was able to resolve the issue for the most part and we only ended up paying for a portion of the carpet, which most likely had fish oil supplement on it from where we fed the our pug (good for his coat). It was disheartening that it even had to come to the point where we had a collections agency contacting us but am glad the situation was resolved shortly after posting my grievance. I still cannot recommend this apartment complex but can acknowledge that there was a resolve to the situation. It just took additional escalation to get the the right manager that actually would resolve it."

"Myself and wife moved into our own 2-bedroom apartment together in September, 2021 at the sheridan village. The apartment office ( Kay, Lynda, Kristin) and the maintainence team were fantastic in getting through the lease and preparing the apartment in time for our moving from Massachusetts. Not only was the apartment freshly carpeted and walls painted, but even basic toiletries ( like shower curtain, soap, paper towels, tissue, etc.) were provided. In my 18+ years of living in rental apartments, this is the best move-in experience I have had. Over the next 3 months, the maintenance team and apartment office are very quick to resolve complaints with leaks and fixtures to our satisfaction. Neighbours are pleasant. Lawns are well maintained, a little too much mowing if u ask us."

"Budget apartments with ample amenities and loads of space within community. Free parking, water and heater are included, which are plus points. Tennis court or some other recreational activity area and few upgraded amenities would have been better to have, but still these are good apartments to live."
