"This supreme motel. Where is the cheapest option with prices posted online in the area, but the rooms reflected this. I typically associate separate with budget, but generally well-maintained motels. This location feels like it had been renovated within the last few years, but not cleaned or touched up since that time. The hallways and staircases has mud and grass from what it looks like weeks of boot traffic, the walls were splattered in well-aged spills, the bedsheets had cigarette burns in our non-smoking room, and the hallways had a the distinct Marlborough smell of a cramped smoking patio behind a dive bar. The upside was that the sheets themselves seemed clean as did the bathroom, and a modest continental breakfast was provided, in spite of the in room coffee machine being broken. In all, we slept reasonably well, but with a little bit more attention, and a more friendly check-in experience, our stay would have been nicer."

"I’ve stayed here on three separate occasions. The first two were fine but the third was a disaster. When we arrived the third time we were put in a room that reeked of urine. We asked to switch, but then we were put in a room with a shower that didn’t work, dead bugs on the bathroom floor, the bathroom door was broken, and there was dust covering everything, it didn’t look like it had actually been cleaned in years. We ended up extending our stay and we had to be moved to a different room. Yet again, we were put in another different room that also reeked of urine, and the ac coming out of the unit smelt like it too. Was very very disappointing. The only perk is that it’s somewhat close to the malls in Albany."

"This was a disaster. The non-smoking room stank of stale smoke. The carpeting was so stained, you didn't walk around without shoes. The walls were stained. The mirrors were filthy. The smoke alarm had been ripped off and was missing. The bathroom fan was removed and a hole in the ceiling was left. There was a dirty washcloth tangled in the shower curtain. The bed was no where near a queen size. It was at least 30 years old, very uncomfortable. The room was very dingy. Horrible, horrible, horrible."

"I had a good experience here at Super 8 Schenectady with some minor negatives. Let’s get to the negative aspects first. I’m fairly confident the hotel hired Stevie Wonder to handle the painting and wallpaper judging by my room 218. It seems they also hired The 3 Stooges to install the fixtures since the bathroom exhaust fan was a nuisance and the shower rod was about to fall off. But now on to the good aspects. The staff were great! Honest human beings at work who were friendly and always there when needed. There’s a convenient common area where you can sit and heat up a meal in a clean microwave. They offer smoking & non smoking rooms which is nice to have the choice. And the best part was the price. My rate was $70 ($79 with taxes/fees) and that’s pretty awesome. So yeah, I’d say I had a pretty decent experience here."
