"ROACHES GALORE!! If you want a new pet, move into the F building where a ton of cockroaches will keep you company!! If you want to deal with negligence, move to Black Creek! If you want to put in NUMEROUS requests and be met with absolutely nothing, move into Black Creek! If you want windows with huge cracks in them that get covered with scotch tape, move into Black Creek! If you want to drink dirty tap water & risk your health, move to Black Creek! If you want to have a ceiling that caves in and mediocre work is done to shut you up, move to Black Creek! All in all, move to Black Creek if your expectations are lower than their professionalism."

"The fact that you have to rate this complex at least 1 star in order to write a review is absurd. But, they’re desperate for that ONE star. To anyone even considering stopping by Black Creek apartments off of 9w in Esopus, save yourself the time, trouble and disgust and keep driving far, far, FAR away! You’ll catch a sickness just looking at the place. This place is absolutely horrifying and disgusting from the apartments with unsanitary water, black mold, water damage, broken windows and pipes, and most importantly- you’re all going to love this one- the MASSIVE cockroach infestation. Building F is literally an endemic of cockroaches, let alone what the other buildings could possibly be dealing with. I can only speak for myself who resided in Building F, apartment 4, along with friends and new tenants in Building F, we could ALL attest to the negligence of not only the complex itself but the tenants paying NYC prices for falling apart, cockroach infested apartments. Don’t even get me started on the employees. They are the most corrupt group of people I have ever met. Nobody knows their left hand from their right hand, nor what is occurring at the complex. They all act surprised when someone calls with a complaint. I literally lived there while someone fell through the floor of their apartment DUE TO the company’s lack of concern. Cops are there religiously. They are the most immature and unprofessional people I have ever met, but it makes sense they’re the people running this complex. Stay away!! Save yourselves!!"

"I have read all these reviews, and I decided to write something about my own experience. Most of them are talking about agent ! She was very nice to us when we went three to see an apartment."

"Unfortunately, I had a negative experience even in viewing an apartment. I scheduled an appointment to see a one bed one bath apartment for 11am on Monday a few weeks prior and was told this would be the case unless someone took the apartment before hand. Trying to be on top of things, I called a little less than a week before the scheduled time to double check if the apartment was still available and the appointment was still on. I was met with confusion, suggesting I never had an appointment. The man I spoke with (different from who I initially scheduled with) was very kind and assisted in scheduling the appointment properly and assured me I would be meeting with someone at 11am on Monday for a 1 bed 1 bath apartment. Upon arrival the day of the appointment, I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism and regard for what I was expecting to see. The leasing agent who met with me stated I would “not be happy with” what she was going to say, but the keys to the one bed one bath apartment were not there. I drove an hour to see this apartment and confirmed I would be able to see the one bed one bath prior to arrival. There was no immediate jump to action to see if they could get the keys - very blasé and indifferent to that. She did have the keys to a two bed one bath, though. Although not what I was hoping to see, I decided to see that anyways. Again, I was disappointed and put off by what I experienced. After reading the other reviews listed, combined with my own experience, it is clear this is not the place for me. I would encourage anyone to do their own digging and take what everyone is saying into consideration."

"I give this place 666 as the sign of the devil. Man they’re so much I could say about this place. I should have took heed when prior to sign the lease they miscalculated the move in balance. Then when I moved in tub was not fixed as it was supposed to be prior to move in, plus the garbage on the fire escape outside my bedroom window wasn’t removed. No screens in any of the windows except 2. I year in the apartment and no one never fixed the tub. Next a few months living there I realized I was being charged for renters insurance, I had my own, which they were given prooprior to move-in. Sadly I was disrespected multiple times by their office manager (Yineriy) not wanting to refund me. It took many months not even knowing if I was refunded cause she never gave me any proof. Moving forward, I moved out, now I’m fighting for my deposit back and agin being disrespected by the same manager. She told me my deposit went in as a rent payment. I paid deposit plus rent every month. My 1st month rent was free. I’ve reached out to the company through FB and all numbers listed but no response and to no avail. I hope management reads this comment and reach out to me. I just want my money and don’t want a whole prolonged fiasco, but if it takes it to that I will contact the proper authorities. If you’re considering moving here save yourself a headache and look else where. They are stealing people’s money and treating their tenants horrible."
