North Road Luxury Townhomes

"Was sold to new property owners called The Cabot Group. Probably one of the worst local property management groups along side with Clearview Farms Apartments in the town of Scottsville. Rent increased but management and maintenance decreased a whole lot. Barley do they ever fix anything in the units and if work is done it ends up being an unprofessional and shoddy repair that needs to be completed again. You are lucky if they address any repair request, it can take them months if not years to get them to fix anything. Their excuse is staff shortages, but it sounds more like poor management, bad hiring and not an ounce of passion in their field of property management or for the tenants. Any 4-5 star reviews 4 years and older speak of the prior management group and its disingenuous to keep those reviews after buying the property."

"I had to give it a star to be able to post but they deserve none. FIRST the just got sold so trying to track someone down to talk to was a NIGHTMARE! Then as soon as I did get to talk to a real person they were rude. She sent me the application and then NEVER answered any of my questions. I sent over ten emails and when I tried to call them the call went to an automated voicemail asking for a security code. It gets better! I then sent a follow up email asking if she got my questions. She responded ed with yes I did but the unit is sold. SO instead of emailing me back after the first five emails you just IGNORE ME????????? Do you really want to do business with these people? Trash. Do not recommend engaging with them or even trying to communicate because they will just ignore you. I can't even IMAGINE attempting to live there."

"No on-site maintenance or property management, sometimes unable to get service for days or weeks. Ideally would want to have on-site management available for a luxury community of this size and quality. Once went without hot water for 3 days before getting a new tank. Aside from that, the buildings and the units themselves are spacious and made of high-quality materials. Double block walls between the units provide good sound attenuation and insulation barrier. Central heat and a/c, and some units feature full basements with laundry hook-ups. Overall, a fair value and just some good country living. Good access to various walking/biking trails and leisure. Plus, it's always nice to not have to do any yardwork.......my back does not miss that one bit!"

"My husband and I moved in about a month ago and have had a great experience! It's very quiet, we never hear our neighbors. Kathy has been great to work with from the very beginning, from setting up an appointment to allow us to come check it out to resolving any concerns quickly and efficiently. It's also in a great area, mere minutes away from the Main area of Scottsville and only 10 minutes away from Target & Wegmans! Everywhere we've travelled to in the Rochester area is no more than 25 minutes away, great central location!"

"I have lived at North Road townhomes for a few years now. I called the manager (Kathy) to take care of a few minor repairs. She said she would. The next day it was taken care of. Major kudos to Kathy and her crew for the prompt and professional help. Kathy is always a pleasure to talk to, pleasent and professional. Keep up the good work!!!!!"
