"The staff is absolutely horrid. There's not a single time that you could call for assistance without feeling like you were an inconvenience. I hope the property management gets better because it is a beautiful location if given the opportunity. Also what's up with the pool? Why have a pool if it is literally never open?? It's bizarre."

"I visited recently and I was shocked to see that the grounds were so trashed. The dumpsters were overflowing so bad there was garbage absolutely flooded at the trash disposal area The lawn and the grass was so overgrown nobody could ever possibly sit and enjoy the sun outside (that used to be one of my favorite things to do - I lived there about 4 years ago) It used to be absolutely beautiful lots of foliage and flowers and fun little places to sit or take a walk It seems like the property has just diminished unfortunately Not to mention the staff is absolutely unkind Anytime I would call for anything it was like I was an inconvenience The pool always opens late - and is only open on weekends until the children are out of school. I always thought this was ridiculously unfair to the people that don't have children. The people that don't have children pay the same amount of rent as the people that have kids. They should be able to enjoy the pool without children for small lengths of time while the kids are still in school (i.e. in between memorial Day and school closing summer vacation) Pools are not just for kids. It just doesn't make any sense... The staff they hire for the lifeguard was always very invasive and rude My mother lived there for a very long time Her apartment was a basement apartment or lower level It flooded multiple times So most of the lower level apartments are known for floods And then you have to worry about mold and contaminants like that She also had to invest in an air purifier and dehumidifier because of the moisture levels Lastly - The interior of the buildings are completely run down and outdated I very rarely saw anybody cleaning the inside hallways especially during COVID Where I live now they routinely clean every building (inside the halls up and down the stairs floors dusting etc) weekly This prevents any long-term damage to the walls floors etc I completely understand that this is a community living situation and you can't please everybody. But these are very very simple basic standard apartment complex request as somebody that pays as much as they charge. If they are going to continue to just do the bare minimum they should lower the rent to the accommodating price for that area. I hope these reviews help in some way. I loved Windsor Mews that's why I'm writing this review. When I first moved there a very long time ago it was said to be one of the best living communities in Rome. Clean and kind staff. All the amenities like beautiful grounds and a pool Little did I know that it would turn into what it is now."

"I was going to apply for a 2 bedroom apartment but I was being denied because I didn't make 850 × 3 gross pay to qualify to rent. Even though my background, credit, work, and references came thru I did qualify for the room to rent due to my gross worker wages. The 300$ was there to hold the apartment until I was informed that I was accepted and when I approved I would only have 48 to cancel. They had my name email and phone number, I was never contacted by them. I found a new place to live so I went back to get my deposit. They refused to return it to me. Not even remembering my name or info, but stated that they contacted me but by showing my phone's email and call history I proved that never did, right to there faces and they still refused saying "you sighed this " but I underlined there paper work saying " it was you who was to Inform me asap when I was qualify " and " you said I didn't because I didn't make the gross wages needed to live here" so I am entitled to my money back. So they lied and tried to change the rules to keep my money, mind you the apartment was not going to be ready till MAY 5TH! But they where allowing people to move in anyway?!? I needed a home asap because my house I rented was being sold and I had less then 30 days and they wanted me to wait till may 5th !? When I said "should I call my medicaid representative" they where rude told me toget out and threw me out with my check. I went to my bank deposited back and blocked any access to my account by them. Do not live here or try to they will steal from you."

"(Summary: Run Far Away!) I have lived in these apartments for over a year now and only because they refused to accept my 30 day notice saying they “Never recieved it” and told me they are keeping my security deposit i needed to move so i was forced to sign another lease. Even with that aside my experience has been awful. From the extremely rude and unprofessional staff that has harrassed us at random for things we havent done to the poor build quality of the apartment and lack of “availabilty” from the maintenance staff. The rent is overpriced and does not include heat or electric. The lack of parking, often due to broken down unregistered cars. The small overpriced washing machines and dryers that are in my building are always filled with other renters clothes because there are only 2 each per 14 apartments. The common areas are always dirty and smell. The pool is never open so i have yet to use it since i moved here. I have had many people and friends that would have been possible renters ask me if Windsor Mews is a good place to live and i will always tell them no."
