"The place they had “ready” for us was full of cat urine smell, the closets and drawers had stuff left in them including loose pet food. The toilet seat was black, and it was filthy. Seriously could not believe you could even try renting an apartment in that shape. I was waiting for someone to punch me and wake me up..."

"My son rented an apartment in this complex while attending Potsdam Summer 2012 thru spring 2013. When we arrived it was deplorable. It had not been cleaned. There were literally hundreds of bugs on the stove ,and in and around the refrigerator. The so called carpet on the floor was disgustingly stained industrial carpet where pieces were patched with carpet of different colors. The ceiling had stains all over. The walls were stained with a white wash paint that looked like it had been painted for 20 yrs. The bathroom was an absolute disgrace. The built in furniture in the bedroom was broken. The stripping on the front door was off and you cld see light when door was closed. There were wires run through the ceiling and no smoke detectors. No parent wld ever want to leave their child to live there. And when we called the Super to address some of these issues, what we found was a small minded man who could care less. And to make it worse - at the end of the lease, they had the nerve to steal $245 taking deductions which included cleaning the stove(bug infested & cleaned by us when we arrived) and vacuuming. Unfortunately, they have a capitive market and slumlord approach."
