"PSA for those moving here and/or looking for housing.... Do NOT rent from Pleasant Creek Meadows if you're military. My husband and our kids and myself moved from a 2br to a 3br there last SEPTEMBER. The paperwork showed that we had gotten the keys in September but for some reason the lease was written until October??? Okay fine, an extra months rent? Whatever.... but yesterday we had our move out inspection, mind you we spent 250 on cleaning and 200 on carpets and they're trying to charge us THOUSANDS to supposedly replace carpets. They're trying to say they were brand new except for my oldest son's room. Supposed stains under the couch where it was physically impossible to spill anything.... on top of trying to charge 40 dollars because the fridge top wasn't wiped. I really wish they would have let us get pictures because this is insane. They're not military friendly in any way or form. And if you or your spouse has PTSD also be aware the race track is RIGHT there and they do fireworks throughout the season. Josh was the best landlord. Replacing him was their biggest mistake."

"We were very pleased with living here and had no issues until we moved last week. We swapped units to something larger and thought we knew what to expect when leaving for good, but we were wrong. The new management is VERY different. Make sure you rip your carpet up to check for stains UNDER (yes the bottom of the carpet) BEFORE you MOVE IN because they sure will charge for any stain UNDERNEATH even if the top of your carpet is NOT stained. Other notable cons: -The snow removal this year was subpar in comparison to last. -our packages frequently went missing (usps & neighbors) -The racetrack that's in close proximity is very loud all summer. Pros: -close to base -maintenance is fast"

"Lived there for 3 years. Josh the landlord was the friendliest guy you could meet. His maintenance crew were professional and competent. The community is mostly military and very quiet. I saw law enforcement presence only one time in my entire time living there. Roads are plowed well during the winter. Apartments themselves are neat and roomy. A hidden gem. Only downside is a racetrack nearby they you can hear, but the only operate Saturdays for a few hours during the short summer. You can't go wrong renting here."

"This place was amazing ! We lived here for our 3 years in fort drum & never considered moving ! Josh & the maintenance guys were awesome. Never took long to fix whatever we needed fixed. They even went out of their way to remove a snake that was in our front yard !( I have a really bad snake phobia so josh sending the guys to remove it was extremely nice of him ) the only down side is that there is no ac so we had to use window units but other then that we would definitely live there again if we ever go back to fort drum !"
