Reviews
"Love the trails that take you out to the woods along the canal, so quiet and peaceful. Perfect for breaking out the yoga mat and getting some stretches. The bathrooms aren't always clean, but theyre good enough for a free facility and better than nothing."
"Been here a few times, but never walked the trail till now. It's nice! Lots of bikers on the gravel path and loops around to a single trail in between the old and new Erie canal. Lots of wildlife throughout. There were an abundance of turtles! Shaded areas and sunny. There were people painting and picnic tables to sit. There are bathrooms with portapotty type toilets. Dogs are welcome!"
"Nice shady spot off 31. Watched a lot of people fishing. Would love to see more safe and developed embankments and better upkeep, but definitely a great spot for a break."
"Awesome public park along the canal at lock 29 with a majestic old world feeling. Great fishing spot, lots of different places to fish. Awesome trails to walk. Good place to walk, cook out, or just chill. There are bathrooms and grills and this place is well maintained."
"Really great local park, that does a really good job preserving the history of the original Erie Canal! Plenty of activities to do on the lawn, and trails are mainly in the shade, so good for a hot day. Parking isn't that difficult, but does seem a little limited."
