Inn at Twaalfskill

"Our family loved our stay at the Inn at Twaalfskill for 3 nights in November - Nancy is a wonderful host and the inn is both immaculate and perfectly located. Our rooms were large, clean, and well-appointed. Nancy noticed our likes and dislikes and went all out to cater to them. The location was perfect for exploring the area, visiting nearby towns and the nearby Culinary Institute and FDR Library. We went out each morning on the walking trails, including the Walkway Over the Hudson a short stroll away. The breakfasts were sumptuous, with different savory and sweet options each morning, always accompanied by a fruit and yogurt parfait and freshly baked goodies. The common area was kept well stocked with fruit, snacks, and beverages each day. Highest recommendation - we will definitely be returning."

"Fantastic stay at the Inn at Twaalfskill. Perfect location and accomodations. Nancy was a perfect host and made us feel so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Large comfortable room and beautiful bathroom, tub and shower. Walk out door to the rail trail and bridge over the hudson. Look forward to returning."

"We adored this fabulous find! The accommodations were everything that we look for in a B&B. The house was very attractive inside and out. We loved the amenities and decor in the place and in our room, which was quite spacious and comfortable with a wonderful large, jetted tub. Breakfast was delicious. There was an attractive seating area outside. Extreme attention was paid to every detail. The whole place was extremely clean, and Nancy and Eric were delightful hosts. The location was a great launching point for our explorations of the Hudson Valley, with the added bonus of being right next to the Walkway over the Hudson, and a choice of bicycles to use on the trail. We’ll be back!"

"A wonderful spot for a visit to the Hudson Valley. We were able to get a room last minute over the holiday weekend when our plans changed (our flights got cancelled so we changed to a more 'local' aka drivable trip). We had such a lovely stay. The Inn/house and rooms were so cozy and well decorated and incredibly clean. The breakfast was delicious too (and Nancy was super accommodating to my dairy allergy). We definitely recommend having a car in the area; however, the Inn is right on the Hudson Rail Trail and we had the best sunset walk over the Hudson River into Poughkeepsie. It was the perfect spot for a few night's stay and we hope to return in the future! Thank you again for a lovely time."

"My wife & I traveled to the Hudson Valley for our 5 year anniversary, and can’t wait to return for another stay at the Inn. Nancy is an impressive hostess, cook, and area expert with recommendations on great places to go, see, and experience. The room was quiet, comfortable, and cozy, and the entire house has a great atmosphere & ambience. Beyond that, the food was unbelievably good. What made it even more impressive was that Nancy made it an incredible stay while also maintaining the utmost safety by following COVID-19 precautions. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this amazing place!"
