Red Roof Inn Rochester - Henrietta

"The staff and location is good. Upon checking in: I was asked if I wanted a room with Hot Water or a TV. They didn't have a room with both. Of course, I took the room with Hot Water. Upon getting into my room, it was awful. The only good side to room was the comforter which was warm and clean. The pillows were nasty while the pillow was clean - the pillows itself was stained. The floor/carpeting needed vacuuming and a good shampoo cleaning. The ironing board did not have a padding so I was unable to iron my uniform shirt. The bathroom was the worst. The floor was disgusting and looks as though it hasn't been mopped in ages. The sink drained very, very slowly. Now, yes, there was hot water - but the water pressure was awful - it was just a light trickle. The photos on the hotel's website were very deceiving. So, I am including my photos."

"Toilet was broken, and it looked like they tried to glue. It was leaking all over the floor. The shower soap gel was empty. Miss having the individual shampoo and soap. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO RESPOND TO MY REVIEW. WE LOVE STAYING AT ALL RED ROOF HOTELS. THANK YOU THANK YOU!"

"We got to our room, the refrigerator was unplugged, and mold was forming inside of it. We did plug it back in before looking around more. The adjoining door between our room and another's was loose, and the room smelled of smoke along with burns on the lid of the ice bucket. We had our daughter with us and didn't feel it was appropriate to stay there. We packed our belongings back in the car and stayed elsewhere. This could have been just a fluke experience, but we didn't want to risk it. I wish I had taken pictures, but we left asap to arrange a room elsewhere."

"This place was disquisting. The toilet had not been cleaned and would not flush at all. We called the front desk and they told us to lift the lid and how to fix it. The toilet was not fixable. There were 2 plungers next to the toilet. The floors were filthy. Crumbs all over carpet. The bedspread had brown stains all over it. The fridge was dirty. The air conditioner was filthy and it smelled. They had put mothballs on top of it. I would never recommend this place. I honestly don't think they clean the rooms at all . There were stains on the walls and ceilings. We told the front desk and they could care less. I was so disappointed. There were also bugs in the room. I will be calling the health department on them because this place should be shutdown"

"SO DIRTY! The floors were extremely sticky, literally like glue to our shoes. Dust bunnies in every corner and dead bugs on in the middle of the floor. All the bedding and towels had yellow or brown stains on them. Must smell in the room. The lady at the front desk was very nice when we complained and immediately changed to a different room for us, but the second room was even worst, skid makes on two of the pillows and they were extremely lumpy. I had a great experience at another red roof in Buffalo so I thought they were a safe bet but I guess each location has different quality. The bathtub was also yellowed and had suspicious stains. We had booked a 2 night stay and it wasn't refundable so we reluctantly stayed. They didn't come in to clean the room or replace the towels between the nights. I also bumped into the cleaning staff when I left, I noticed their cart only had cleaning supplies and no new bedding or towels, I wonder if they're just refolding used linen? Either way, just very, very dirty!"
