"The Lantern was fantastic, the rooms and grounds have been updated very recently from what we could tell and the people who run the place just as refreshing. We got in super late and they were greatly accommodating given the fact that they reside on the property full time. Would recommend the lantern to any and all friends/family for future stays!"

"Christian is very rude to people who come to stay there. He has been rude to dss people and rude to regular customer paying cash.he has no respect for anyone he's even rude to his mother which works there... little man complex is what he's got.Christian also told people that he can't treat dss people as regular people..this business has been turned into the better business bureau because of Christian.theses people don't need to own this type of business with him around"
"When we first got there we thought everything was nice, clean and seemed to be a nice quiet place. My daughter was crawling around on floor and her shirt was all black after 5 minutes of crawling around. The floor was so dirty! The sheets had a stain which looked like blood, hairs all over them. The people next to us were staying with 4 kids in their room who were running around outside our door till 11 at night yelling and carrying on. A The parent didn’t seem to mind much at all. I’m pretty sure they were living there. The property outside was well kept, but I was not pleased with the floor and bed and the people living at motel."
"This is such a cute little motel! It is completely updated, clean and very comfortable! We were really excited to see it was also pet friendly! There is a great area behind the motel for walking the dogs and a cute picnic table for enjoying some sunshine. It is very close to a lot of great spots in the area and the staff was really friendly. The only thing that was super disappointing was that they said there was a breakfast but there was literally nothing. We stopped in the breakfast room before departure and there was a box of questionable english muffins, tea bags and a jug of orange juice. Maybe I missed something but that was pretty disappointing. Overall it's a great spot and we'll definitely be back!"
