"The owners were very kind and friendly, and the location is excellent. The beach area is clean, with nice sand and relatively new docks. It's about 1.4 miles to the town of Inlet, where there are some good restaurants, shopping, and a park. However, as others have said, the Cottages are very run down, smell bad, and are infested with mice. The Cottages are relatively clean, but the dampness and smell really turned us off, the furniture was very old and worn out, etc. If they remodeled the Cottages, I would definitely recommend staying here."

"We went in July from Wednesday to Sunday and we rent a cottages and it was infested with mice. We explained it to the manager and she felt bad. However they did not do anything about the situation said they put up traps and we did not see them also calm that they sprayed foam where we seen them coming in we did not see that at all. We had to throw out some of our food because they got into it. Very disappointed at the fact that the manager I spoke to about this situation said she would talk to own an get back to us an we never heard a thing. Not the way to run a business very disappointed."

"Great location. Extremely friendly staff. Cottages very clean. Beautiful lake and beach area. Plenty of fire pits and outdoor furniture but the cottages definitely need to be updated. The living room and patio furniture is old and very uncomfortable, especially the beds. No microwave. Very overpriced considering the cottages need updating. Definitely would stay here again once they update at least the bed mattresses and lower the price to match the cottage conditions. I wouldn’t have minded paying $200 a night as long as we could have had adequate sleeping, living room and patio chairs."

"All cabins were infested with mice and rodents. When we asked about them.. they provided traps. We used them up the first night and bought 10 more. Caught 8 more mice by the end of the week. The place is falling apart. Musty smell to all cabins... outdated. And all the repairs are done very poor quality."

"I've been coming to the camp since I can remember with my entire extended family. There are ~30+ of us and we all fit comfortably across all the cabins. There is a beautiful swimming area with a dock, fire pit, volleyball court, fields for kickball and baseball, and seating by the water for a communal environment. Dave is one of the nicest people I have ever met and he is now a close friend of the family. I can't imagine going anywhere else in the Adirondacks but 6th Lake at Clayton's."
