At Home

"My daughter and my new born granddaughter was at this location on 1/7 around 4:15pm. This was our first visit At Home and we wanted to shop for their new home. We decided to start in the bedding department. As we entered the isle for sheets, there was a young lady in the middle sitting down in a chair on her phone texting . She didn't move or acknowledge us as we approached. So, I asked was this isle closed and she spread her arms out as if we didnt see her texting. As we turned away she made a sound that she was annoyed. I came back and asked her name she gave it and I asked was the Mgr in she said yes. She waited until we left the isle to hollered out can I help you. I approached the Mgr to report the unprofessional behavior, as I was talking to her she continued working and gave a smirk and said I will talk to her. No other response like an apology to make it right. As a professional myself, even I know the employees will only be as great as their leadership. And in this case, the leadership is poor, the customer service is poor and my family and I will never know what it is like to shop at At Home. I will be writing a formal letter too. My advise is to stay far away from this location."

"A ton of beautiful home items here!!! Carpets are a variety of styles and sizes, and very fashionable. I needed a new front door mat, but not of coir, and found exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price, and was also able to use a 15% birthday coupon on the whole purchase of items. Good place well worth checking out!!!"

"I saw only 2 people who I think worked there because they dont wear any type of uniform, work shirts or i.d. tags, so customers can know who works there!! I don't like walking up to another customer asking questions.. humiliating! At Home is trying to keep their operating costs as low as possible!! And I'm sure they're making billions $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ of dollars every year with all that expensive furniture and other stuff. Speaking of which, I returned a small piece of furniture and because I didn't have the receipt, the cashier only refunded 2/3 of what I originally paid and put it on a store card!!! Then, she wanted me to sign up WITH HER for a store credit card!! I am a retired senior and don't appreciate At Home only refunding 2/3 of what I paid for some very cheaply made, rickety piece of furniture!! So... Don't Lose the receipt for ANYTHING you buy at At Home stores, you'll only get 2/3 of your hard earned $$$$$$$$ back!! They've got a helluva lot of nerve. They shouldn't be in business if they CAN'T AFFORD IT!! Customers WILL sometime lose their receipts! It comes with the territory !!"
