"Writing this review for the old man that works at this shop. He said to my 3 year old son, word for word “the last kid that put rocks in that dog house, the dog came out, bit him and dragged him to the river and drowned him”. My family and I were in shock with what this man said to my 3 year old son. The look on my son’s face was mortifying. He had suppressed tears and was so confused by this agressive behavior. Yes he put rocks in the dog house. We would have cleaned it out and removed it after noticing. We even went in to apologize to him for putting the rocks there and after I expressed to him that his words were very harsh, that he could have spoken to me directly and that he should not speak to young children in a threatening and TRAUMATIZING way. He simply shrugged and said “oh well, now I have to clean those rocks”. I am completely angered by this man’s behavior and his complete lack of empathy and decency. If he is in fact the owner, what a shame! If he is an employee, I hope the owner sees this review and addresses the issue."

"I'm very happy with the toys I bought. My dogs are very strong chewers and usually manage to break toys within days. I bought a few toys here 2 months ago and they are still in great shape! Amazing quality!"

"I simply love this store. The owner is highly devoted to her business and offers a great assortment of dog and cat toys, high quality pet food, collar, leashes and treats. I especially love the wall of cookie jars filled treats, where you can build your own bag of goodies for your dog. They sell toys that are of incredible quality and have always been a hit with my dogs. They even sell bow ties for your handsome fur guy!! A few years ago I found the best dog coat here, and return every year to get a new version. I love being able to bring my dogs inside, and the staff is super friendly with every visitor. Businesses like this are hard to find. The big box stores are NOT cheaper, and you will rarely get recognized for being a return customer like you will be at this beautiful boutique pet shop."

"Amanda was very helpful with our previous dog and his chronic health issues. We were able to find home made treats there that didn't affect his dietary allergies and he'd love going there. (As he was a cranky old man in a fur suit we were always surprised how much he liked going there). The only negative to bringing your pet is they like picking out toys. Not just one, not just two, but they want the entire store. We haven't brought our newest dog as she's a hyper terrier but soon."
