"First of all, this is a review for the Brooklyn Office admin. The physical therapist I was seeing: Yuchen He, she is GREAT! Yuchen is very professional and detailed in evaluating my problem and given exercises. However, the front desk/the administration staff doesn't seem to be very professional and competent. I went for an initial evaluation almost 3 weeks ago, and until now I still have not yet received my insurance approval for the treatment service that I needed. I called multiple times to the clinic throughout the weeks to follow up on the status and was being told every time that the prior authorization request “is pending”. Because of the pain and discomfort I have daily, I have to call my insurance to find out what is going on, and I was told by the insurance that the request was actually being denied days ago. The insurance informed me of the documents needed to be submitted by the Brooklyn's office in order to have the case re-evaluated so that I can get service approved for the treatment needed. Upon requesting my previous PT provider (the other rehab clinic I went last year) to end my service, he responsibly sent in an discharge form as soon as I asked, which made it easier for me. The insurance also told me that the Brooklyn clinic never sent in any initial evaluation’s clinical notes for review which another reason for the service denial. What is frustrating is that I have to do this back and forth follow up calls between this Brooklyn United interventional Physical Therapy office and insurance MYSELF multiple times to find out what is going on and to make sure needed docs are submitted, which really is the clinic's job for the client to get the services needed on time!! The staff also told me to see the PT again for a new evaluation so they can send a new request since the other got denied. Well, I got a very cold response from the admin staff when I attempted to update them that they do not need to re-evaluate me as my previous provider already sent in the discharge form and all they need to do is to re-send the clinical notes again to the insurance to have the case re-open for approval per insurance. She just told me that she will contact the insurance herself and hung up. Well, that is an attitude I got. There you go. Again, the PT Yuchen He is very knowledgable and professional, but the staff is not very helpful/proactive from my experience."

"Everyone there is so nice--the physical therapist, front desk staff, and nurses. Yuchen He has stretches and exercises for every muscle pain you can think of. Whatever hurts that day she will help fix and give home exercises, and if I'm feeling okay then I do strength maintenance. I knew from about 10 minutes in to the first session that it was going to be really helpful."

"Really good. Everyone should try. Especially people who had hurt part of their body. They can help any part of your body feel better. All the members of the therapy is really nice and they tried everything they can do to make you feel better. Every times you go there, they will ask if you feel better and did you do all the gymnastics you should do. In a few days, you will feel SO MUCH better."

"This is a really good therapy. It helps your body muscle stronger. Once I fell on the floor and I went there. I told the doctor my problem and she gave me some gymnastics that I can do every day In our Dailey life. I only went there for 4 times!!!! And I feel so much better."
