"Horrible!!!! I never had any issues until this time i went for my annual exam. My regular doctor wasn't available, therefore i ended up seeing (J,A) she was rough all the way, she literally made my eyes tear. I will never let her touch me again..."

"Same as many. One star mostly because I am extremely disappointed. Called to get appointment. Explained that I was a few months over my annual. Was told they are done with annuals until January. Then when I explained I had a medical issue that I wanted the doctor to see she looked up my name and said I had no mammograms on file and I explained to her that i have gotten yearly mammograms and when I was there last I told the doctor where I had gotten them done. Not sure why she did not get copy even thought I listed her as a doctor. Well I guess the receptionist didn’t care. Told me there were no appointments and I asked if there were any other doc I could see and was told no they are booked u til end of December. Even for a problem!!!! Stop being money hungry and stop taking new patients when this practice can’t even keep up with what they have."

"So I don't remember my google account but I wanted to let everyone know that I use this practice and when I tell you as a 30 year old young lady, they potentially saved my life. I was always ignored at other practices in regards to my symptoms and Dr. Guta caught pre-cancer cells and treated me for this. My case has been a shock and handled like a pro. Tina- one of the secretaries there ADVOCATED for me, in so many ways. She not only always got my messages to the doctor, but was able to reverse a denial at my insurance. She absolutely went above and beyond and potentially also helped save my uterus. She deserves nothing but to be praised and is more than qualified to assist any patients. Words could never express my gratitude and Dr. Gutas medical assistant is amazing, I don't know her name but assisted me twice, & helped calm down my anxiety and nerves. Amazing, top-notch office. Thank you!!!"

"I was never able to see anyone, so I can’t review the doctors. But I can review how unprofessional this practice was! They were recommended by my oncologist, so I had high hopes. I didn’t even bother to even look at the reviews, which I regret. But I made my appt a month ahead, I was happy they could get me in. A lot of places takes months! I needed to get this done for annual wellness reasons, but also because I’m on a cancer treatment so I’m suppose to get checked by ultrasound once a year, as per my oncologist and breast surgeon. So I reluctantly and anxiously arrived to my appt 40 min early! But they canceled on me! They claimed they called. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I checked my phone records and I received no call! They claimed they left me a message! But I received no message! So I was mildly annoyed, but understanding and made another appt for the following week. This place isn’t around the corner from me, today I left an hour before, but it usually takes 25 min. But it was down pouring! I mean down pouring! The traffic was slow, not only because of rush hour, but because of the storm! I knew I would be 6 min late, so I had my spouse contact them, to be considerate. They seemed to be ok with it, but then they called me as I was 2 min away! They canceled on me again! They claimed it had to do with me being late and they had more important emergencies! I had to be understanding last week, but they couldn’t do the same. So that was that! I get the feeling they may try to charge me, so to be continue with that. But I was so frustrated because I’m technically a cancer patient, I need this appointment! But I gave up with them and I’m going elsewhere. I was lucky to get an appt with my previous place for this week. I don’t recommend South Bay! They are not professional and they put some patients above others. Don’t waste your time!"

"Absolute worse OBGYN office. They are not honest about billing or transparency on conditions. They did not believe me when I told them I was sick and their solution "to put my mind at ease," (QUOTE THE DOCTOR) they then did a sonogram. I was NEVER called to be told the results. I had discovered the results myself when I went on to the patient portal. There was NO Apology for the ignorance or lack of patient care. Then instead of trying to save what they could, the Doctor's solution was a hysterectomy. They scheduled my surgery then told me 3 Days before they surgery that the hospital room was NEVER BOOKED. Plus very many other issues about coverage, care/treatment, and condescension. I would NEVER recommend this office or Stony Brook after this. Im 25 and was told I couldn't have children and that I was not sick at all until I FOUND THE RESULTS. My mother who use to work in a hospital in Denver was even appalled by the lack of compassion and professionalism from this office. I switched to Mount Sinai where the doctors cared, reviewed all testing and results with me, believed me when I was ill, and I did NOT have to get a hysterectomy. I would never recommend this medical facility to any woman."
