"GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL Is allowing their "Dr" Jalees Ahmed to walk into a patient's room, have a brief conversation less than 10 minutes AND CHARGE $1300, submitting false claims about how much time they spent. Even if they spent 20 minutes what doctor gets paid $1300 for less than an hour? His staff comes in your room like any other doctor doing rounds and EVERY DAY are manufacturing a charge of $1300 for a 5 minute conversation, never informing you that you will be billed thpusands of dollars after you get out of the hospital. GOOD SAMARITAN'S RESPONSE TO THIS REVIEW IS MY ISSUE IS WITH THE DOCTOR. THEIR DOCTOR ON THEIR STAFF VISITING A DEATHLY ILL PATIENT COUGHING UP BLOOD ADMITTED TO THEIR HOSPITAL WITH COVID PNEUMONIA and they never inform the patient of these charges from the psych unit that are ridiculous. I didn't even want to talk to these people when they came in. Now they are billing out-of-network and without getting prior approval from insurance billing $1300 dollars for a 5 minute conversation THEY ARE FRAUDULENTLY STATING AN 18 MINUTE CONVERSATION THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. AND DAY AFTER DAY SUBMITTING THE SAME CHARGE. After a year of non-stop paperwork from his office the insurance said they did not get prior approval so they do not get paid and I am not responsible for that. Yet they continue to call and lie & harass me over & over again. These demented people are taking advantage of sick people in the hospital. SO If you are ever at GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL make sure you do not have a conversation with just anyone who walks in the room. They are not informing you there is a separate charge for their "psychiatric" dept and your insurance may cover it differently or MAY NOT COVER IT at all. They do not differentiate themselves from the priest or nutritionist or physical therapist that walks in the room. GOOD SAMARITAN and this "dr" JALEES AHMED are billing THOUSANDS of dollars OUT OF POCKET for a five minute conversation and saying it's18 minutes? An 18 minute CONVERSATION WILL COST YOU $1300 OUT OF POCKET?"

"I came to the ER because my mom had a severe stomach pain, Within 4 hours since we came into the ER entrance, they were able to diagnosed that my mom had an appendicitis. My mom being taken into the operating room within 2 hours, and the operation only went about an hour or so. Compares to other hospital, this one was quick. We were in and out in 10 hours, and my mom had an 2x ecg, lung xray, ct scan with contract, 2 blood draws, and an appendectomy. All within 10 hours. Oh and all the nurses/doctors/nurse assistants/ everyone is really nice and welcoming."

"I received the absolute worst care in my entire life. It was so bad Im at a loss of words. Do yourself a favor people go to a different hospital if you are deathly sick. They do not care about their patients, the nurses care more about how they look as opposed to getting their patients the medication on time. I had to wait 27 hours. I thought this was supposed to be a hospital not beauty contest between the nurses. Good Samaritan is so bad it's just absolutely shocking."

"I’ve been at this hospital twice and am shocked by the comments it has received. I have never been treated bad at this place or any other of their facilities. All staff members have always been respectful, polite and helpful to me. I just gave birth we stayed 4 days and I cannot say anything negative. Nurses were very kind and never made me feel unattended. They taught me so much and gave me a lot of support even after being released the good sam’s team has reached out making sure the baby and I are ok and that we have everything we need. I would recommend this place to anyone. People who go by reviews need to remember that others are more likely to leave a negative comment rather than a good one."
