"I want to start saying that Dr Fuimano was great, very knowledgeable and compasionate. In the other hand medical assistance Doreen B. was so rude towards me and my child, got mad out of nowhere bcs she couldn't do her job and find the vein in my son's arm to draw blood . She start yelling at my child not to move. left the room throwing things in the garbage and later pass by the front desk when I was doing the check out and give me dirty looks. Nasty attitude , I truly don't understand why this woman acted this way. I will never come back to this place."

"My four year old son has had a bad stomach bug for over a week. Dr had us take a stool sample and drop it off at the lab. We have been waiting for them to call with results. We had to call the office every day because no one called us, and were told repeatedly the Dr would get back to us but still no one ever called. Then we were told they’d call after hours on Saturday of labor day weekend cuz they were too busy to do it during working hours. They never got back to us and he still is sick so we have to wait until Tuesday to figure out what the tests said. They constantly overbook themselves, pretty much always have a long wait, and now this. Unbelievable."

"My son had to have his covid test for back to school in August and Doreen walked him through the entire process! She helped my teenager learn to be independent and how to be self sufficient! She does a great job relating to the adolescent population of this practice."

"BEWARE - note about author - I took a paternity test and quickly got involved in my sons life, unfortunately threw the court system, which one of the first things I did was order copies of my sons medical records in preparation for a custody trial and gave them to the lawyers, the court referee and a friend who's a paralegal. Over several months I learned how South Bay Pediatrics lack of knowledge and professionalism nearly cost my son his life. 1) South Bay Pediatrics never read any of my sons medical records. 2) Under South Bay Pediatrics Doctors advice, my sons mother gave him a homeopathic medicine that was recalled by the FDA and put my son in the hospital for 3 days and $140,000.00 of medical bills. During the following court dates we learned the recall was BEFORE the Doctors at South Bay Pediatric recommended using it. 3) During these court dates I learned my son was never scheduled for any follow up visit, one with a Cardiologist to examine the hole in his heart discovered at the NICU he was in for 8 days after birth. **in the medical records from the hospital. 4) My sons mother was advised by South Bay Pediatrics to ween my son off of breast milk because of her use of methadone. ** in the medical records they specifically states "No breast milk until mother test clean of Methadone." .... also in the medical records it states he was already detoxed during those 8 days in the NICU. 5) During a wellness visit I asked the Doctor about his follow up for hip dysplasia, she looked at his medical records and said "yes, we'll need to set that up." ... I would have not known about it unless I was told by my paralegal friend. 6) ProHEALTH billed me $15 that neither ProHealth (South Bay Pediatrics parent company) nor South Bay Pediatrics could explain. After a 2 months of phone calls and emails, I decided it was a waste of my time and let it go. 7) The last visit was for a wellness visit, my son had a cold the Doctor said she was going to submit a prescription and reschedule the wellness visit a couple weeks later after he recovered. (My Pharmacy calls when the prescription is ready, so i put it out of my mind) A couple of days later it dawned on me, I never got the call so I called the Pharmacy and inquired. They said they never receive the prescription from South Bay Pediatrics and I needed to contact them to submit it. I called South Bay Pediatrics and they told me I needed to reschedule an appointment for them to submit a prescription. ..... at this point I realized the Doctors at South Bay Pediatrics are only there for the paycheck from ProHEALTH, so i switched Doctors away from any affiliation with ProHEALTH services . 8) I filled HIPPA forms with my sons new Doctors a few days after the last visit and the new Doctor had to repeatedly contact South Bay Pediatrics over the next couple weeks before they released them. During that time my new Doctors tried to look up my sons records with that State and learned South Bay Pediatrics never submitted any of the records to the State that they are suppose to BY LAW. 9) Once my New Doctor receive all the Medical information they discovered South Bay Pediatrics neglected to give him scheduled vaccinations which they got my son up to date and on track. 10) That last visit to South Bay Pediatrics, ProHEALTH billed me that as a wellness visit which would qualify as a fraudulent claim. Generally I try to find the positive in people and give them chances, but when a human life is at stack there is no tolerance for mistakes or lack of professionalism. You have been warned. ~Don"
