"I am giving this review 5 stars simply based on the doctor alone. Dr. Carmen Todoro could not be more kind and compassionate and exhausts every option in regards to your care and treatment. Best doctor I’ve seen. However, the office staff could not be more rude and feels no need to follow up with patient calls and concerns. In the past 2 months they have refused to take appeal paperwork for my insurance company Dr. Todoro had to fill out, then the nurse they made me hand it too complained she didn’t know how to get it to the doctor, then they called to tell me they didn’t have it. Thankfully, later that day they called to tell me they did in fact have it and got it sent to the doctor. Not only are they incapable to handle simple paperwork but it took me 4 days to get any kind of call back from the nurse so much so I had zero faith it would happen when promised. Finally after calling for probably the 6th time, Becky, the office administrator got on the phone and sincerely apologized for the lack of follow through and also was kind enough to get me into see the actual doctor the next day. She even put me on with a different nurse, Nicole, who was kind enough to tell me if I had to call back to personally ask for her. She was lovely. But then today, after my apt I am back to same nasty office staff. Due to my mistake, I did not understand the names of the physicians Dr. Todoro referred me too. Upon asking for them before leaving the office, the reception did try to get them but the Dr. was already in with another patient. They said they would call back but due to their history of not calling me back for several days, I called back 2.5 hrs later seeing as how I did not think a couple names would be difficult to obtain. The woman I spoke to was incredibly short and rude and said “yes, your nurse got it she’ll call you back”. It’ll be a miracle if that actually happens. My schedule is crazy with work and I know I’m going to have to find time to call again just to get a simple response. Again, I could not be more thankful for the care Dr. Todoro and his clinical team has provided. I even saw his PA once who was kind as could be. But overall, the office staff is horrendous and I would only recommend this practice if you have the patience to get through reception and truly are there for the doctor alone and not customer service."
