"Six years ago I had rotator cuff surgery & was looking for a physical therapist to help me post-op to get full range of motion back in my shoulder. Lucky for me, I found Doctor Thomas Yarrobino at Optimum Physical Therapy in Smithtown. Tom & his staff were terrific & knew exactly what course of action & approach was necessary, & tailored a specific exercise & stretching program to eventually give me back full range of motion in my shoulder, which I achieved! Just recently, I had a full right hip replacement. Without hesitation, Dr. Yarrobino was my only choice for the rehab required for my hip. Once again, Tom & his staff worked with me to insure a full recovery of motion in my hip, which I achieved as well, due to his specific instruction & approach. Conclusion… if you require physical therapy for any type of injury or post op surgery, Optimum Physical Therapy & Dr. Yarrobino & his staff are your best choice to get you back on the road to recovery! "I had injured my left foot in a car accident a while back and needed to get some Physical Therapy. My doctor recommended Optimum. Let me tell you, after going to Optimum Physical Therapy, I am never going anywhere else! Dr. Tom Yarrabino and the whole staff are fantastic- funny too! I originally thought going to PT twice a week would be a drag, but Tom makes it comfortable and enjoyable. It's a relaxed atmosphere, incredibly clean and well-maintained (there are two TVs too). What makes it cool is that Tom explains, firstly, what's wrong exactly, and then how the exercises will help the problem. Everybody's always happy and smiling, the patients too! Everyone is so friendly, nice, and always cracking jokes so dealing with the pain isn't so difficult. I have had surgery twice and went straight to Optimum when I could and I healed up in no time!
