Northwell Health Imaging at Smithtown

"DO NOT GO HERE!!! Would give a 0 rating but that is not an option!! They lie directly to patients about out of pocket costs to have routine imaging done here!! They TELL you NYS has a “no surprise bill” law and they have an obligation to tell a patient IF they have any copays or deductibles that need to be paid at the time of service. You then proceed to have the scan done after being told no co-pay to receive a bill 2 weeks later in the mail for $300 deductible. THEY BILL AS THOUGH THEY WERE A HOSPITAL SO THEY CAN CHARGE INSURANCE 3 TIMES THE PRICE OF ROUTINE MAMMOGRAMS/ULTRASOUNDS!! DISGUSTING SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE!! I am reporting them for unfair business practices and will do EVERYTHING in my power to see this place close!! AGAIN DO NOT GO HERE!!"

"Everyone here was pleasant to speak with and very professional. Although there was some confusion with my appointment they made the fir best to accommodate me ensuring I still got the best care. Tammy was amazing and had me in and out as I was in so much pain she really did her thing taking my X-rays and Getting me in for my CT ! Thank you Tammy !! However, I do feel like the call center could use some help or maybe a refresher being that is where the scheduling conflict came from."

"I have been using Northwell Health Imaging almost exclusively for my mammograms, sonograms, MRI’s and CT scans. Every time I walk into the office, I am greeted by very pleasant check-in staff and my appointment on 5/17 was no different. I was greeted by Brianna with Tamisha assisting for the check-in process which was quick. The ladies there are always personable, proficient and professional. I was called in fairly quickly by Angela, who was my CT Scan tech. She made me comfortable and calmed any concerns I might have had. She checked on me during the fairly quick process and helped me up afterwards. She, too, was very friendly, proficient and highly professional. I actually like going to Northwell Health Imaging at Smithtown because I know I’ll be treated with respect, dignity and professionalism."

"My daughter went there for a potential DVT and had imaging done early afternoon and NO ONE ever called with results! We made numerous calls considering the urgency of the request to no avail! We were promised a call before 8pm!!! They were nice but this is a serious infraction!"
