About the Business
The Colonie Youth Center, located at 15 Avis Drive in Latham, New York, is a school that offers a variety of programs and services for children and families in the community. One of the popular programs at CYC is the "Slam Dunk" Recreational Winter Basketball League, which is held at the Ciccotti Center and has over 300 children participating this year. This program is sponsored in part by Nemer Volkswagen and the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation, with additional support from Stewart's Shops through their Holiday Match program.
The CYC Scholarship Fund helps lower income families with the costs of before and after-school childcare, thanks to the generous donations from Stewart's Shops Partners and patrons. This support allows many families in the community to afford childcare services.
