"At a local festival in Olean, I won a prize for a gift certificate for $100 towards photos from this company. I do not live in the area but I was excited to win this prize and to get photos of my family. When we called, the company explained we would need to pay $100 for a sitting fee. Package price and other information was never disclosed. The photographers met us on location; however, the location selected was inappropriate and unsafe for our son with special needs due to brambles, roots, etc. that were taller than he was. We moved locations, and the photo shoot seemed to take a turn for the better. Weeks later, we discovered the cost of the packages. Overall, the transparency of this company is questionable. When the company accepted the money for the sitting fee, an explanation of the packages and cost of the photos should have been discussed. In the end, we not only did not use the gift certificate, but also lost money for the sitting fee and spent money traveling down to the area for no photos to show for this difficult experience. I sincerely hope that they do not make "donations" in the future. I wish that I would have just donated more money to the church that the festival was held at."

"Bad experience with photographer. The first location they selected for the photo shoot was a little shaky and uncomfortable. Afterwards had some scheduling conflicts to view the photos since I live in Rochester. Ended up taking a day off of work and driving two hours to Olean because they didn't want to share the photos online. Did the viewing at my parents house which was a little weird. Found out their packages started at $420 (After the shooting fee) for 5 portraits and no rights to the photos. The money wasn't the issue per say, just wish we did a contract so we were aware of what we were getting into and had more transparency. Addressed concerns with the photographer, didn't feel like he acknowledge anything and blamed us for some of the issues. Ended up hiring a different photographer, sad since they did get some good shots of my family."
