She looks at every aspect of what’s going on with you. She is knowledgeable and just a phenomenal asset to not only Albany med but to the medical field."
"Went here for a few years. Saw one doctor that was very nice and knowledgeable to start out with. After our second appointment I got a letter in the mail stating she was moving and I would be seeing an NP. NP Dr. Netta had no idea what my condition was, I had to explain everything like I was brand new. Insisted several times I had asthma when I told her my arthritis and muscle pain is so bad I have to rest and "catch my breath". poor choice of words on my part I guess cause she never let go of it afterwards and kept asking if I had sought treatment for the asthma I've never had. Then like before, this NP quits the practice, except I spoke with her on a Monday, set an appointment to see her again in 3 weeks just so I could get a letter in the mail the following Thursday stating that "Dr." Netta would no longer be working with the practice." Why couldn't Dr. Netta say something during the appointment? It makes you feel like a faceless chart when they cant be bothered to communicated something SO IMPORTANT like QUITTING YOU. absolutely no communication, no one really takes responsibility for your case and office protocols aren't communicated either. After missing several appointments due to emergencies and my health (and the knowledge that they actually don't care about my condition) they dropped me as a patient, fine by me because I've already lost faith in the practice as a whole. A true office manager notices a pattern of missed and rescheduled appointments and makes the client aware of the drop policy but they never mentioned one. My real issue with being dropped is they dropped me on the 20th of the month, after my pharmacy and I were both trying to refill my most important prescription since the 1st of the month. 20 days of faxes, phone calls, voicemails - over and over went ignored. I was even told by a receptionist at one point "Our fax is broken, you're not the first person this month to not get their pills filled". It wasn't until I called in tears twice in one day, the day after they dropped me, that the office manager Courtney said "well I left you a message yesterday saying we aren't going to care for you anymore." When I mentioned I didn't care about that, she said "Ok fine." When I highlighted the fact that being dropped didn't change the fact that my prescription should've been filled 20 DAYS prior to then her response was "I'll see what I can do" with an attitude - as if she was gonna try and do me a favor. The next day in the mail I get a letter stating that they've dropped me and will fill out one last courtesy prescription! Something Courtney decided to not mention during the call. I had to BEG FOR IT. This office is poorly managed and has no actual compassion for patients. The nurses that take your weight and draw blood listen more than the "practitioners" and the office staffed can't be bothered to communicate with anyone, least of all YOU. After the way the doctors made me feel over the years, Courtney was the Cherry on the Sh*t Sundae."
"As a former patient of Dr. Greenstein, I will say this used to be a wonderful practice. Now it is absolutely terrible. There is a 6 month (at least) wait time for an appointment, and that is with an NP or PA. They will tell you that you can get in with a physician eventually. But in reality, once they get you in as a patient, they will not allow you to see an actual physician no matter how many times you request. If you ask to see a physician one too many times, they will boot you out of the practice as a patient. I spent 10 days Mayo clinic and presented my PA at this practice with the care plan they had provided for me. He was not familiar with the Mayo Clinic (huh?!), and he seemed dismissive of their guidance. These people lack compassion and empathy. They do have a very nice, newer, modern office space. Although it is oddly surrounded by professional business offices."
"Attempted to get an appointment and after two weeks of phone calls (not returned) and a VM that I got, I finally was able to reach someone who informed that I could get an appointment but, they were booking out 6 months. Why bother. It's not like I was looking to get a massage or a dinner reservation. I have some debilitating symptoms and after two weeks trying to get an appointment and working through all the hoops you tell me I can't be seen for six months. I would think you'd rather just inform people you aren't taking any new patients at this time instead of wasting my time and your receptionist's time. Attitude on the part of your phone people doesn't help either... Thanks for nothing. Have a nice life."
