"very bad experience. I waited for hair cut from 3.30pm to 5.45pm, but the hairdresser told me I cut not did the hair cut on that day, and she let me make another appointment. She ignored her promise that she can did it to me before she close the shop, and waste my time. I will never come here. This shop may breakdown sooner or later!!!!"

"Samantha was truly amazing! I walked in on a Sunday and waited ~40 minutes but it was well worth it. She seemed to know exactly what I wanted/needed before I even said anything. She also gave me a relaxing head massage while washing my hair. Definitely recommend her!"

"I’ve been going to this salon for 5 years and mistakenly let the owner (with the gray pony tail) in the first chair cut my hair. I asked him to trim one inch off and do some long layers to make my hair less heavy and thick. He cut way too much off while he was giving out to his other staff members at the same time about something else. My hair is still so thick and now so short and uneven. I noticed how bad it was when I arrived home and came back into the salon today to let him know and he was not one bit helpful and told me to go find another salon. Safe to say I will never be going back here again. This is the customer service and treatment you get as a customer of 5 years. The other women are all lovely and other staff members but the owner is so rude, avoid him at all costs!!!!!"

"I agree with the previous reviews about the guy with the gray hair in a ponytail. Don't go to him, if he's the only one available, wait for someone else. Price is right, cut was not. The whole time he looked like he knew what he was doing but I had a bad feeling. Previous reviews said he cut too much (true), he cuts a-- backwards (true). I asked for long layers at my shoulders.... the shortest layer is mid head and longest is chin. Not happy! Other girls doing hair looked gorgeous... don't let this guy go near any girls' hair. I'm wondering if he's even had training on curly hair. Did not know what he was doing."

"At first i went into a consultation at another salon called Art Room Hair Spa (not too far from this salon) They told me repeatedly it was impossible to get a blonde balayage with the dyed jet black hair i already had but they can try with the price of $460. i left as that was an unreasonable price. When I walked into The One Hair Salon as a walk in, I was greeted with kindness and got sat right away. Gordon took care of me, he did not once say it was impossible to achieve my hair goal. He was patient and kind. He made sure he tried to the best of his capabilities. He checked up on me numerous times, asking me if I was okay, if I was tired, if I needed water or any drinks. I was there from 11am to 5pm. He even offered me candy! He’s the sweetest and extremely professional. All the staff were extremely kind and professional as well. I cannot thank Gordon enough for doing my hair perfectly as he went above and beyond for me! I really do recommend this salon it’s the best ! a hidden gem for sure. they charged me only $200, an extremely affordable price. Thank you Gordon!"
