About the Business
One World Goods is Rochester's only fair trade gift shop, located at 3349 Monroe Avenue in Pittsford Plaza, Rochester, New York, United States. With over 35 years of commitment to providing artisans and agricultural producers from around the world a marketplace for their products, we ensure fair wages and support women's rights and children's rights. Our products, made by fairly-compensated adult artisans and farmers in over 38 countries, range from traditional folk crafts to modern designs. Sustainability is at the heart of our mission, using materials like organic cotton, recycled glass, newspapers, and even elephant dung to create products that preserve traditional crafting methods. Our store is run by dedicated volunteers who ensure ethical practices and fair compensation for disadvantaged artisans. "One World Goods is just awesome. It probably helps that I gift coffee to three different people regularly, and wool socks are like fine wine to me, but the vibe here is just very relaxed. The quality of the merchandise is marvelous , including some wool dye I haven't seen anywhere else. I go here every year for gifts, but poke my head in from time to time for fun. Coffee club is a neat feature I'd use if I lived a wee bit closer."

They've got so much! Jewelry, toys, clothes, bags, decorative items galore, seasonal items, practical items, novel items, and so many many things I can't even begin to think of!
