"First I want to say - I never do reviews BUT I always have such an amazing experience here that I feel I must share! I went to Alex once at her previous place of employment and I immediately loved her. I had come to her with a million burnt and broken pieces of hair on the top of my head. (I had troll doll hair!) Let’s just say I had an incident with a certain all-in-one hairbrush blow dryer. Anyhow I went to Alex asking for a cut and color and shared with her my story of the very unfortunate incident. She looked at my hair and was very genuine when she said “I am so sorry this happened to you”. She then proceeded to take her time and cut the fray and dead ends from each individual burnt piece so that it would look better as it grew back. I can’t even tell you how much I appreciated her care and thoughtfulness! I left without making a return appointment but 6-8 weeks passed and I decided I wanted to go back to Alex. Of course I called her place and found that she was no longer there. They asked if I wanted someone else and I quickly blurted No! Then added thank you before hanging up. Lol. I then went on a hunt to find her. I asked a friend who had casually recommended her to me and luckily she had her Instagram page. After searching I found that Alex was opening a salon with her sister Samantha. Their mom Rhonda is the amazing receptionist, greeter and salon keeper! Anyhow I made the first appointment I could and I currently still visit there every 6-7 week; sometimes sooner depending on my service. I have had my teeth whitened, eyebrows waxed and tinted (best thing ever!). I’ve also had a hydro facial, highlights, cuts and styles with a ton of awesome looking blowouts. I constantly get so many compliments on my hair! I love my color and Alex always gives the best haircuts with angles and shape! This past weekend I went for hair and makeup as my stepdaughter was getting married. I got ready way ahead of the ceremony time as we were taking pictures beforehand. I showed Samantha an inspiration picture and she expertly did my makeup. (She even answered all my makeup questions that I peppered her with while she did my makeup lol). I then moved on to Alex who was styling my hair. I expressed that I like some hair down and that I was worried about the weather (it was raining). She did a half up/ half down style that really looked beautiful! I am usually so critical of myself (aren’t we all???) but Between the hair and makeup I felt so pretty and confident! Samantha promised that my makeup would last ALL night and she was right! I did a lot of dancing and never once did my makeup or hair fail! I love this place and I just had to share my experience. You won’t be disappointed here, everyone is so skilled, so friendly and so real!!"

"I went to Abruzzo Beauty Bar this past weekend and I cannot thank them enough for transforming me from an overworked overtired and not liking the look of my reflection to a glammed up princess!! I had a friend's wedding to attend and lost count of the amount of compliments I received from my new hair and makeup!! If you want to feel like your fairy godmother took out her wand and made you feel like a beautiful princess then don't walk, but RUN to make your appointment with these dynamic duo sisters!! You WON'T be disappointed!!"

"I’ve had my lashes done by Samantha on a number of occasions and couldn’t recommend her more. I wanted to have long-term lash extensions for my wedding and honeymoon (rather than temporary lashes just for the day of) and Samantha worked with me starting months before to tailor the perfect wedding day look. I absolutely loved how they came out every time and they were perfect to complete my wedding look. Additionally, the tanning and teeth whitening services are fantastic and the team was able to give me an amazing all around glow for my wedding day. I can’t thank the Abruzzo team enough!"

"Sam is an incredible lash and makeup artist. My lash extensions looked amazing and my eyelashes were perfectly healthy once i decided to stop getting them. I also always get my makeup done by Sam whenever I have an event and it is always gorgeous. I always get so many compliments on it! My hair has never looked better since I started seeing Alex. I have black hair and she got it to the blonde I wanted while keeping it healthy. I was amazed at how soft and shiny it was after being bleached. My haircuts and blowouts always leave me feeling and looking amazing and refreshed. They are the absolute best! The Salon is also stunning and has massage chairs at the sinks :)"
