"Came here for a perm rod set a little over a year ago. Don’t know why I’m just remembering it now. Do NOT get your hair done here. I came in and asked for a perm rod set and they asked me what I was talking about. (First sign I should have walked out the door.) My hair was washed. The girl doing it didn’t seem to know how to set the hair. She used about 20 rods. Different sizes and colors. Why? I don’t know. I definitely use wayyyyy more than 20 rods to do my hair myself. (You’re probably asking yourself why I sat there and allowed this to happen to myself. I was going to a charity event and needed my hair done. So I was giving it a chance because I didn’t have time to go to another salon and wait my turn on a Saturday. I had already stopped at 3 other salons on Merrick to see if I could get it done that day.)anyway. When it was done, I looked a hottttttttttttttt mess. Stylist looked liked she expected a tip for this disaster. Hah. Not if I was rich. Had to go to another salon further down Merrick and get it done properly. Ended up paying to get the hair done twice and ended up late for the event. Don’t go here. My sister gave it a chance a few months later against my warning, came home saying “never again.” I mean, look at my hair? Dry. Unpolished end result. Could have done it myself at home and it would have looked better."
