"I brought my 11.5 month old son here for his first haircut. I called to make the appointment and after telling me what time to arrive, I asked her how much a haircut was. She told me $14-$15. I was happy they were able to fit us in. The haircut started and the lady (she did not tell me her name) showed my baby the buzzer and a comb for him to hold onto. At one point, the baby flinched but didn't cry, and then kept using his arm to push the buzzer away. I didn't think too much of it and tried to distract him with putting on Ms. Rachel (he was doing so well before this with just a comb to entertain him). After finishing, she briefly and quickly brushed some hair off, took off his and my cape. There was still a lot of hair on my son's sleeves, on my shirt and jeans, and on his face. She said he did really well for a baby then walked away. Afterwards, I went to pay. She up-charged me to $20 and didn't explain why. That irked me a bit. The next day, I noticed a pretty deep scab behind my son's right ear. This must've happened when he flinched and started to swat the buzzer away. I don't know if she knew this happened or not but if she did, she should have been honest and let me know. I understand babies and kids don't sit still well and things like this can happen. Everything combined from the sloppily cleaning us off, to the up-charge, and then the nicking of the ear really made our experience here a negative one. I'm giving it two stars because they were able to accommodate us (though there was only 1 other client there) and the haircut wasn't bad."
