"I thought this was a good insurance company . They will be glad to take your money as long as you don't have a claim . Make a claim and they will cancel you . It wasn't even my fault . The tenant intentionally started a fire. I will be checking if this practice is illegal .."

"HORRIBLE COMPANY, they are absolutely the worst. We had major damage to our home during the Christmas Blizzard. Here we sit in June and our home is still uninhabitable growing mold everyday. Erie/Niagara and their adjusters have done absolutely nothing to help settle this claim, we have had little communication from them, can not get them to answer questions, or address concerns, nor give us any direction of next steps. BEWARE, BEWARE, if you are insured with this company, chances are they will put you into bankruptcy before finishing your claim."

"I've had them for four years never had filed a claim had trees break,well pump go up appliances go up never filed a claim. Until this year. June 16th 2022 at 2 am my house caught fire and burnt. Pretty much a total loss. ,10 foot hole in roof bout a foot of water threw the house to get the fire pit out had to punch a hole in floor to drain water out. Insurance adjuster was there a that day so over the weekend didn't hear nothing. Slept in my garage for 9 days before they sent any money for living quarters. Haven't herd from them since. I should of looked up the reviews on this waste of insurance company. It's August 4 and still have not herd a word from the adjuster or my local broker. It's making me give them a star to continue if I could they wouldn't get a star at all. I'd give them the chocolate ice cream emoji."

"Literally an insurance company that is a legal scam. They take your premiums. They advertise the lowest rate which they have, and that’s because when you make a claim they will never pay out anything. So why not give you the best rates they’re gonna keep all your money anyway. So why not give you the lowest rates when they’re never going to pay out any money anyway. This company is an absolute joke. They have no problem taking your money but I am telling you now you’re better off paying 20% more and getting an insurance company that actually pays out when you have a claim. Hanover for me has been the best insurance company I have ever done business with I own rental properties, commercial properties, as well as a nice home. Use Hanover do not use this company."
