About the Business

Drumroll Stage Sushi Pub is a unique institution located at 86 Court Street in Geneseo, New York. By day, they offer fresh and healthy food and refreshments, while by night, they host a diverse selection of live performances. This bar aims to bring the community together and support local industry by stocking products from nearby restaurants, breweries, distilleries, and wineries. The building has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s and has previously been a family home, grocery store, dance hall, and saloon. Drumroll Stage Sushi Pub hopes to continue the legacy of this community hub and provide a space for local musicians to showcase their work, as well as bringing in acts from outside of town for everyone to enjoy. They also host a radio show called "Conversations from Drumroll," which features interviews with artists and airs on 89.3 WGSU on Saturdays at 10:30 A.M. The institution is closed on Mondays, but open from 12PM to 9PM Tuesday to Thursday, 12PM to 1AM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 12PM to 8PM on Sundays with the sushi bar open until closing. "What a gem! Sushi lovers south of the I-90, rejoice! Drumroll in Geneseo is serving up some of the tastiest sushi I've had in a very long time. (No longer will I have to make the trek up to Rochester.) We ordered a spicy tuna roll, Philadelphia roll, one of the restaurant's signature rolls (I think it was called the Drumroll - fabulous!), eel nigiri, and seaweed salad. EVERYTHING was delicious, freshly made, and the two of us needed to take a bit of the rolls home. The owner was in-house and made us feel incredibly welcome. The sushi chef was pleasant, too. The indoor space is great! I can't wait to come back for live music. See my picture for a peek at the place. If you love sushi, definitely make visiting Drumroll a priority."

"This is exactly the type of Gem that Geneseo needed. Wonderful open lay out, friendly staff, the best Sushi in the area and a new spot where we can enjoy our local musician's. Fully equiped with a stage and great lighting with Room to dance and eat. I should also mention that the prices dor everything are on point!"
