"Recently stayed at Creeksong and was VERY disappointed. I've rented from Elk Springs Resort before and was completely satisfied so I had no problem with renting from them again. This cabin does not even meet their standards. The cabin has potential, here are the Pros: The creek out back was wonderful! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch area that has a very nice fireplace! It's very relaxing. CONS: Cabin needs some serious updates! The bedding was old and dingy, looked like it had been washed a thousand times. I washed it because I didn't know if it was clean or just old. The towels in the bathrooms were old and all different colors. Carpet in bedrooms needed a good cleaning. Furniture and appliances needs to be updated. House looks clutered, not like a vacation rental. I know these cabins are privately owned, but who wants to see pics of their families in their cabin. The cabin is 20 minutes up 321, far up from the attractions. This cabin needs some attention. There was 4 king bedrooms, only one had a TV and the TV was so small you couldn't even see it. It looked like it was 20 years old with the big back on it, and they had the nerve to have it mounted on the wall.The dishwasher was full of ants. Disgusting! If the owner would spend a little money on updates, pack up some of their personal items, and do a real good cleaning, it could be really nice. Until then, the next guests will be leaving the same kind of review."
