"Crazily expensive , the food is one of the worst I’ve ever had in the past 10 years life in nyc , all dishes are salty as hell , the quality of food sucks , the chicken tastes like died over 1year , the service yea there is no service ,the sever is busy who no no purpose , can’t believe it is the chain restaurants, sometimes if u succeed not about you deserve it , it is about you doing something early. never come back , the first time is also the last time"

"Years ago, Benihana was the type of place worthy of breaking out the clip-on tie and a pair of dress slacks. It was a festive, fun place with great food and a lively atmosphere....Boy oh boy how things have changed. Recently, I went to the Benihana in Manhasset NY and was very disappointed. The food was terrible. Now, full disclosure, I am only reviewing the sushi bar food, we didn't have the hibachi, but based on my experience I wouldn't. We couldn't eat the spicy salmon roll and the avocado salmon rolls because they didn't smell right. The white fish sushi tasted very, very fishy, and all the fish we ordered was just slightly above room temp. I definitely will not be going back."
"A well rounded experience with exceptional service and attentive staff. The food is wonderful and drinks are delicious! The hot sake is a must. Best spicy shrimp I've had. The place is popular and loud, usually a 20 minute wait at dinner time, but they keep it flowing pretty quickly. For 5 of us with tax and tip it was $400."
