"Kissaki blew me away, from the decor, the ambiance, the service, and then the food. Frank the manager was exceptional, Jun the bartender made the best drinks in town. Service was on point, never hovering but always around when you needed them. The Wagyu steak....perfection....but dont miss the Otoro Sundae!!"

"It’s a long story. First we Wer seated in the bar area. Not told when the reservation was made. Placed drink order 3x before they got it right. But the major screw up was saying we serve family style. In all other places, this means large portions to be shared by many. To them and only them. It means everything comes out at one time. So even though I ordered STARTERS. they sent the whole order at once. I was very unhappy. I said in a very stern tone. Send all hot entrees back now. And make new for later. The manager came over. And defended her “family style “ comment. But ultimately said the meal would be comped. The food was just OK. And not deserving of the high prices. In the end the bill came out with no items taken off. I will never return. So this is just a warning. Unless this place is under new management. Stay away"

"I was so happy when this restaurant opened and it didn't disappoint. The decor and ambience is beautiful - it would be perfect for a date night, girls night, or family dinner. The food is also incredible. There is something to eat for everyone and the quality of every dish was so excellent! In addition, the service was impeccable! We weren't waiting for anything, we were always attended to, and the manager made us feel like VIPs just by being so welcoming and checking to make sure we were having a good time. Definitely recommend!!"

"This new spot in Manhasset first and foremost is absolutely stunning. There are gorgeous banquettes throughout the restaurant for larger groups and the bar room looks perfect for a first date. I started with the Spicy Crab, which was so flavorful it had me picking out every last morsel before letting go of the plate and the spicy tuna crispy rice is always a hit. Then it was onto the sushi, which is a place Kissaki shines (they also have two locations in NYC) - My server Roshad who was the absolute best told me to get the chef's signature selection and I couldn't pick a favorite because they were each so uniquely satisfying (and change regularly). For mains my friend and I had the Uni Pasta which was so decadently delicous and the Black Cod, which was light and sweet. I can't wait for an excuse to come back and would highly recommend this spot to family and friends."
