"What a pleasant surprise. I ended up in Glen Cove unexpectedly. Being hungry, I pulled up places to eat on Google and drive past the cafe. Everything was delicious. Duck wrap special was delightful and the sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. For those of you who order them know what I mean. Everything looked so good I ordered food to go as well. Thank you for making a trying day wonderful!!!!!"
"Looking for something to eat near Roosevelt Mall? West End Cafe is nearby in a strip mall right across from REI. You will find items on the menu you would not be able to taste elsewhere. Great delicious American food with fantastic service is what you find in this hidden gem. Warm and cozy Manhattan-style decor with comfortable seating allows you to enjoy your food while having a great time with friends or family without going to the city. Once seated, a basket of warm delicious garlic bread is brought out to the table. They have an excellent choice of cocktails and drinks along with draft beer. Choose your appetizers and entrees then finish off with some dessert."
"West End Cafe has been has been around a long time, their service & quality of food has not changed overtime. I hadn't been here in a while, this time I tried their twilight menu, it has many options to choose from, their portions are big, not what you would expect for the fixed price menu. I had the beet salad & the Romano crusted chicken, very tasty, juicy well seasoned chicken & the warm peach crisp. For the fixed price you're served fairly big portions of delicious well seasoned food. Their sparkling French Martini is one of my favorite drinks here, it's an absolute delight!!"
"My date and I had the price fixed dinner. The menus offered a variety of dishes. The beet salad appetizer and fresh salmon were delicious. Portions were generous, and we both had a delicious ice cream desert."
"Overall: Comprehensive menu, great atmosphere, & good service -Bread: The bread was garlic bread. It was warm and good! 5/5 -Soup of the Day: Butternut Squash Soup (H) 4/5 -Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb with Honey Mustard Glaze: The lamb was perfectly cooked! It was amazing!! The mashed potatoes could have had some herbs to match the herbs on the lamb but it was plain. The spinach was regular garlic spinach 4/5 -Chef Special: Shrimp & Mussels Pasta (H) 4/5 -White Chocolate Caramel cake: Cake was amazing! Great flavors 10/10 (H) = things my husband ate and rated."
