"My friend heard great things about Plori from another friend. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the Feta in Phyllo and the Crabcakes. Then the Cod and the Chilean Sea Bass which was a special. I would say this is one of the best LI restaurants I have been to recently. The food is definitely on par if not better than Limani and Kyma. Can’t wait to go back!"

"A delicious escape to Greece is closer than you imagined. On Old Country Road in Westbury, Plori is our own Mediterranean jewel. The decor is refreshing, romantic, and intimate. Sunsets and azure blue lighting punctuates subtly and whispers Santorini, Mykonos, or Rhodes into your ear. While the foods served you, echo across the miles and transports you for an authentic Greek dining experience. We started with a tasty bread basket of toasted pita points and delicious bread. Crisp with a hint of salt, roasted tomatoes, and good Greek olive oil sets this as a must eat as you enjoy your cocktail. We opted to try the Saganaki, which was rich in flavor and satisfying. The Kolokithi Keftedes was attractively presented on a long white plate. The zucchini fritters were crispy and sat upon smooth cauliflower puree seasoned with basil, mint, shallots, smoked almonds, and skordalia. Delish! The Solomos Avgolemono was cooked to perfection with and accompanied by artichoke, pearl onion, lemon egg drop, and leek risotto. Exquisite! And believe it or not, we had to try their desserts. The Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts was sublime, as was their filo encased custard and fruit. A delightful evening, and we will also return for their exciting happy hour menu stuffed with goodies!"

"My wife and I have been to Plori multiple times now and it's always been consistently great and on point. The Greek food is exquisite and the atmosphere is relaxed yet refined. We highly recommend it if you're in the mood for real Greek (no Gyros here)."

"Elegant Dining Experience at Plori Our dinner at Plori was overall a wonderful experience. The restaurant presents upscale table settings which contributed to the nice atmosphere, making our dining experience feel like a special occasion. The gentleman who seemed to be the owner checked on us twice during our dinner, a lovely personal touch that showcased the attention to service. We were brought bread with a delicious spread which was particularly appreciated as I was quite hungry. For the starters, I had a soup and my wife relished a fresh Greek salad. Both were quite enjoyable. My entrée was the special of the day, pappardelle with grouper. While the grouper was excellent, the accompanying pesto-like sauce was a bit too creamy and buttery for my liking. My wife, on the other hand, had the lamb and thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite my personal preference about the sauce, the service was excellent and it's clear that Plori is committed to creating a quality dining experience. Therefore, I'm giving this restaurant 4 stars and I'll definitely return to try more of their dishes. It's a commendable spot for Greek cuisine lovers. Will give it another try!"
