"Had dinner with a coworker, only ones there an hour before closing. We were seated and served immediately. Portions were huge, 2 sodas, 2 meals, tax and tip came to $95. Chorizo was awesome! The brisket was sliced thin and a bit on the dry side. The onions that were on top of it were great, though. The corn muffin was a little burnt and very hard, the macaroni and cheese average, and the creamed spinach more cheesy than creamy. My colleague enjoyed the potato salad and baked beans. It's an old-school wooden themed bar and BBQ joint with a bunch of tvs."

"Holy $h!t If you missed the Cowboy chicken fried steak or beef stew, you have failed at life. Seriously though Holy Smoke has very good BBQ. What sets it apart are the specials. If you want seriously good comfort food, the offerings here are amazing. 30 beers on tap, casual friendly service, large portions and reasonable prices."

"We there for dinner recently. The 3 star rating was for the following. 1) The menu prices do not match the receipt (ex: 3 little pigs menu price is $16 and receipt price is $18). 2) gratuity automatically added on the bill, let me decide on the percentage. 3) many mistakes on the food (ex: under cooked burger, missing sides, hot hog on a burger bun). The positives were the following: 3 little pigs, ribs, wings and Texas brisket."

"2/23 Stopped in for a Saturday dinner. Same man near the bar as always. I like to think he runs the pit. Same delicious BBQ as i remembered. Thank you for a lovely dinner! Looking forward to coming back. I particularly enjoy the house BBQ sauce. I have stopped in and grabbed take out twice now. Both times were a good experience. Great brisket! My sides of choice are the baked beans and coleslaw. Others tried the Babyback ribs, half chicken, spicy sausage and pulled pork and were very happy! The BBQ sauce is like none I have ever seen before but it compliments the food perfectly. My only suggestion is to move away from paper take out trays as the juicy goodness can soak through paper and leak in your car. Looking forward to my next trip!"
