"The place definitely needs to be updated. There are no exhaust fans in the bathroom, I was totally shocked about that. The sink constantly dripped. The mattress are very uncomfortable. But it was really convenient to everything I will give it that."

"Short version: they have roaches, pictures included. Long version: john at the front desk was very nice! he made checking in a breeze. Our room was okay/nice but a little small/somewhat dated. There was a wet towel on the bathroom floor, and some areas needed to be dusted, but other than that the room looked clean. I think because our room was by the pool it was very humid. I tried to find the extractor / bathroom fan hoping it would help with the humidity in the room, but could not find one (maybe the switch was in a weird place, but I could not find it). The 1st night we were there some of the other guests were being very loud, yelling, howling (like dogs/wolves) at almost 2:00am but we called the front desk and in a matter of minutes the issue was handled. Which we really appreciated! The pool was warmer than expected (which was nice!) but the pool area had chipping paint in places and the hot tub section was rather small. That night, around 10:00pm I spotted the cockroach. I freaked out, tbf, I called the front desk and they were nice / apologetic. They sent someone up to get us moved to a different room, but I did not feel comfortable staying in a hotel with roaches. So we took our stuff out to our car, spoke with the front desk staff again, and left by 10:30pm or so. The staff was really nice. But if you’re paying over $200 to stay at a place, I think it’s reasonable to want it to be bug free… It was very disappointing honestly. The cockroach incident caused us to cut our trip short and we didn’t get home until almost 2:00am and the things we had planned for the next day, we didn’t get to do obviously. The motel did give us a refund (hopper was not fun to deal with though) but we just used that money to pay to get our clothes and suit case professionally cleaned, since the cockroach walked right beside it and looked like it came from that area. So overall we were still out money and missed out on experiences, because we didn’t feel comfortable staying in a motel with roaches… nor did we want to have to try and find another hotel in the middle of the night, just to be leaving the next day. I appreciate that the staff tried to make things right, but honestly the whole ordeal really did put a HUGE damper on our weekend. We have another Gatlinburg trip planned, but definitely will not be staying at this motel."

"I was honestly a little apprehensive about our scheduled stay here for the Thanksgiving holiday, however I must say I am so glad we booked here. I was concerned the price was too good to be true. The rooms are slightly dated, which is what I was expecting considering the great price. The rooms (at least ours) had appeared to be recently updated which was nice. The check in process was quick & easy, the gentleman than took care of that was very polite. The room, bathroom, lobby & grounds was very clean!! I was able to get extra coffee from the front desk. Housekeeping did a fantastic job of straightening up our beds, removing trash & replacing fresh towels any time we removed our "do not disturb" sign. The pool was an added bonus. If I HAD to list a complaint, it would be that the bathrooms don't have fans, however this would not keep us from booking a stay here again. The walk to the strip is short enough we made it every day of our 4 day stay. The location is also far enough away from the strip that you aren't overwhelmed with tons of traffic. We had made a request for a bottom floor room, close to the pool which they accommodated. We will plan to stay again in the future!"

"Must bring your own pillow. All pillows are same size. Big and hard as a brick. Pool was cool. Bathroom small and no air vent . So wait awhile if someone does number two.don’t pay for breakfast at hotel. Pancake house and crepes right across the street for same price . Everything is def. A tourist trap so spend wisely on only things you want the most. Enjoy the mountains! They’re free!"
