"I always had a good experience with this team over the last few years. My pet is very anxious but they always take care of him with great compassion."

"If you love your pet, no matter how big or small or exotic, I urge you to read this, and do not take your pets to All Species. I was robbed of getting to say goodbye to my pet, because the doctor on call lied about their own policy - yes, lied. After first being told I could be present for sedation, Dr. Garry Innocent told me that it’s “policy that nobody can be present for sedation or euthanasia.” I repeatedly asked why, and he gave no explanation. I later found out pet owners are allowed to be present for sedation. Dr. Innocent deliberately lied, and he was protected by staff who turned the situation against me, grew heated and bullying on the phone, and hung up after I made calls to the clinic several times asking for an explanation. One technician who initially understood I had been angry and upset, changed her story once I asked why I’d been lied to, saying I was “nasty and demeaning”. I’ll let readers be the judge. Upon my visit, the staff had no urgency getting my pet seen. They used rectal temperature and stethoscope to determine her condition. Then the moment Dr. Innocent was called into the room he said “it’s time,” before even looking at my Guinea pig. He told me Guinea pigs need more vitamin C - without knowing whether or not my pig was getting quality amount of vitamin C (she was. I’ve kept her around for 8 years). I was asked to sign paperwork - upfront - of $855 for euthanasia and cremation before they would help, and if I wanted to make a long term payment, they wouldn’t do anything with my pet until I’d apply for an account with their “scratch pay.” I didn’t want to leave my pet suffering untreated, so my hand was forced to pay more than I could afford up front. Not only did they rob me of my chance to say goodbye, they interrupted that precious time to take my credit card. Lastly, when I was grieving and told contradictory news (that I was suddenly not allowed to see sedation without explaining why), I muttered a curse saying, “this is f-ing ridiculous” at which point Dr. Innocent raised his voice that cursing was “uncalled for,” and demanded an apology before helping my pet; I apologized, and asked he treat my pet with better care since I wouldn’t be present. I have no way of knowing what he did alone with our pet or how she passed. The nurse on staff knew how to better handle a distressed pet owner than this doctor did. It was a time meant to be about my pet, and Dr. Innocent made it about himself. Despite my upset and curse words that I apologized for, a doctor who deals with grieving patients should have a better handle on their own emotional state in a professional setting. Dr Innocent was incapable of that. I would not waste my time saying this if it didn’t happen. If you skim through other reviews, you’ll see that Dr Innocent has had complaints spanning the last 4 years, and every social media platform shows bad reviews - and I’ve no doubt there will be an “official reply” to this review by All Species staff, just as belittling, rude, and unprofessional as their replies to other reviewers here (scroll through them on google reviews and see for yourself). If you are reading this and had a similar experience with Dr Garry Innocent, I strongly recommend reaching out to the Georgia state board of veterinary medicine and filing your complaints there. Dr Innocent’s license# is VET005648"

"My hedgehog kiwi went here for an abscess in his mouth and Dr.Innocent and the rest of the team did everything possible to save him, unfortunately he passed away due to how severe the infection was as it was unnoticeable for months. They sedated him and gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye and they truly cared about my little man and were so considerate the entire time. Thank you guys so so much for everything you did"

"Zero stars. Cold room. The staff joked about having to keep pets overnight even though they were going to pass. Mind you the over night fee was $397 Per night. The doctor has zero remorse for my Rosemary To show me that she was weak and in bad condition to make a point, he threw her on the table knocking her over. I do not recommend. My Rosemary died 1 hour later after returning home."
