"It was an amazing experience from taking off our shoes and sitting at the table, to having unagi and most of all a lot of real Japanese food options. This place is definitely a hidden gem. BTW! The curry was really good! My husband and I shared it and man, I wanted to order another plate. Having lived in the west coast my whole life where there’s so many Japanese restaurants and people of decent, this one hits the spot. I’ve been having a hard time finding a place that isn’t sushi and Thai, which are completely opposite ends of Asia where the food is not even similar. Thank you for the experience and food!"

"I’d like to start off by saying it’s not the servers fault. The poor boy was serving around 10+ tables by himself. The owner did nothing but make a couple rolls of sushi the entire 1.5-2 hours we were there and only helped the young man once. We were not sat for 10 minutes after arrival in a half empty restaurant. We sat for nearly 20 minutes and then the server took our order. We waited around 45 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. We were also told that we couldn’t order certain things because there were no clean dishes. I feel so sorry for the server. After another 20 minutes when we didn’t receive anything else or even an ETA we paid what we had received and left. I won’t be coming back."

"If you are looking for authentic Japanese in Knoxville, this is the place to go. First of all, they have traditional Japanese booth seating if you want...which is just freaking awesome. The Takoyaki appetizer was a nice start to the evening. Good sauce and a nice little chunk of octopus. Next, the sushi was really good. The eel just melts in your mouth. They say you can tell a lot about a place by how they do their tamago sushi. I ate 6 pieces of it, which should tell you all you need to know! Also, I had the Karaage Curry. Absolutely delicious. Tons of meat, curry and rice. My kiddo had the Tonkatsu ramen. The broth was nice and creamy. The ajitama was exactly the way they should be. Absolutely recommend. Normally I take pictures of new food places..but everything looked so appetizing that I forgot I to until after everything was eaten!"

"It was my first time trying Chicken Katsu w Curry, so I can't speak to the authenticity. As it was, it tasted great and everything was well cooked. I'll 100% be back for dinner."
