"I bought a used car through a local dealership and they provided me with a discount card that saved me 30.00 on full synthetic oil changes at Pep Boys. I have been here twice to schedule an appointment and ask general questions about their services. The first time i came in, a guy was watching a baseball game on his phone and was really into it. I felt like i was bothering him from watching his game while i was there. When i spoke with him, he was short and direct. He really didn’t want to talk to me or help me understand their different services. When i left, i said i wouldn’t come back. The second time i came, i believe this time there was a mechanic at the computer, i waited for him to call me up and when he did not only was he not very friendly, he had no answer for the simple question i asked him. He didn’t want to ask or find out the answer, he just said he didn’t know and that was the end of it. When you run a business that you have competitors lined down the street that do the exact thing, you have to separate yourself from them with customer service. I gave this Pep Boys two tries. I’m going to take my money and car and go somewhere i feel appreciated and i can trust."
