"Dr Dehovitz is excellent! I travel from Manhattan to see her and have done so for years. However, the downside is the unaccommodating office manager. Bringing a child from Manhattan after school, contending with train delays has meant we’ve been late twice — and charged exorbitant no show fees— and not been seen. While I can understand the inconvenience to the office of a late arriving patient, I find the inflexible and unaccommodating nature of the office manager and the policy of no show fees for late arrivals unethical and not family friendly at all. I hope the doctors will reconsider this policy. From a medical perspective, however, the doctors are excellent. But in a city that can be trying in every way, the last place I want to experience an snarky attitude is at the pediatrician’s office."
