"If you are a dog owner this is your place: dogs are allowed. Great place for a stroll and observe the birds. just consider there are no trees (good luck in summer) and the first segment of the trail is next to the road. Unpaved parking lot"

"Nice 2.5 mile walk we will do often. It was a rather warm day and not a lot of wildlife but we did see a couple of heron. The butterflies were pretty too!"

"Great circular trail and sometimes a good place for birds including herons. Note the water level can vary quite a bit between seasons and even from wet to dry times. The only negative of this park is parking can be problematic on weekends as it is a well known park. Note part of the Appalachian Trail runs through this trail and you may see through hikers walking its length. Note this is also near several other park areas and the trails connect in some cases."
