CityMD Greenpoint Urgent Care - Brooklyn

"Worst city MD experience I have ever witnessed and I’ve been living here for over 10 years. Whoever the tall white balding doctor is, make sure to say no thank you. We came for my partner who currently has cancer…and he immediately told me I could support them from the waiting room, I had to tell him no twice. Either he has an issue with gay people or didn’t want another person witnessing his unprofessional behavior of treating his patients like underage business transactions. He talked to both of us like children. My partner is 30, I’m 35…I don’t need to be told not to kiss my partner when their tonsils are swelling out of their mouth. He made us repeat to him not to kiss. Which to me is disgusting behavior from a doctor. The nurses were kind and obviously having to match his chaotic behavior to not get in his way. I’m sure if we were straight he would’ve talked to us very differently. Or maybe he believes everyone is an idiot. We left feeling disrespected and at a loss. I hope I never have to see him ever again. To the nurse who took their vitals, you were wonderful."

"After receiving excellent care yesterday for an ankle injury/infection, I went to pick up the prescription for the antibiotic they prescribed today at CVS. Was not available. It had never been sent in according to pharmacist. I went over to speak with someone at CityMD, and because the doctor that prescribed it it was not around, they told me I could call a patient helpline. Not helpful. Manager was rude and dismissive. Disappointing but not unexpected from this garbage brand. If you know there is an issue with CVS prescriptions, fix it. You are dealing with people’s lives, you utter imbeciles."

"AVOID Dr. Sicari if you go to this location. He is extremely unprofessional. I went in with a healing wound on my foot that did not look good. He stood over me stared at my foot for 30 seconds, said "im thinking", then after another 30 seconds the only thing he could say was: "well its definitely not infected, just bruised". Less than 24 hours later I was in the ER and diagnosed with cellulitis. This is the second time now that I've had an issue with this doctor, and the manager already knows he is a problem and is escalating this case of malpractice to their manager. Do yourself a favor and ensure Dr. Sicari is not your provider if you go to this location."

"Just walked in without an appointment and was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and compassion of all the staff. From the front desk attendant, to nurse who brought me water after hearing me cough, to the doctor who spent time getting to know why I was visiting today, I definitely felt cared for and heard."

"This was the best urgent care I’ve ever been to. The space itself is nothing special and the front desk staff isn’t particularly warm but the nurse and the doctor who saw me were amazing. I checked in at 11:39, waited about 7-8 minutes before I was seen by the nurse. I was done and on my way by 12:20pm. The doctor took her time examining me, asking me about what my concerns where. She gave me very helpful advice on what medications to get and was extremely empathic and comforting. I didn’t catch her name but I think her last name started with a P. She’s amazing. Truly an excellent place to receive healthcare in Brooklyn."
