"I have been a client of D&F for many years. My recent experience with them was completely unsatisfactory as they did not value my past loyalty and excellent record with prior rentals when dealing with an unusual situation with my most recent booking. (I was out of the country & unable to mail a check...was unwilling to pay a 5% credit card fee per their rules) my reservation was canceled & they booked it with a new client KNOWING I would home within 2 or 3 days. Such a disrespectful way to be treated as a loyal client who was in constant communication while out of the country. I went ahead & booked a different rental with Caldwell Banker and was treated so well. I'm going to tell as many people as possible about how I was treated by both agencies. My agent at D&F needs to be better trained and is lucky I'm nit naming her in this review."

"I rented a condo from Diller Fisher Realtors last week. After arriving I went to the office to voice my dismay about the condition of this property. It was filthy, moldy shower, bloody mattresses, broken furniture and broken tiles. The front door wasn’t secure when locking. Kim Leo sent cleaners by to try to rectify the issues but the property was in such disrepair it caused us to not use the second bath or bedroom. Only one TV was functional. We emailed 4 times with her to find the owners hadn’t replied to her. On our last day I spoke with Kim from Diller Fisher and emailed additional info of our stay and requested some consideration due to what we had experienced. She replied 3 days later suggesting that had I contacted her she would have been able to help, not now. She had received 4 emails from me during my stay. Here’s some photos of what we endured. I would suggest staying away from Diller Fisher!"

"My mom and I had to clean our own rental after checking in because it was so disgusting. We got there a bit early and waited outside until check in time, and noticed the people going in the house to clean were literally two high school age girls. Upon entering the house, we immediately had to throw out one of the shower curtains because it was moldy. We could also tell that the rest of the space was barely cleaned. Some other things we noticed- cobwebs on the chandelier in the dining area, the coffee pot was still dirty, the stove had not been wiped down, plus the fridge still had food in it from the last renters and needed to be wiped down due to spills on the inside. Absolutely not acceptable considering what the cost is to stay here. Unfortunately, when we called the listing agent, Ed Clement, he literally just laughed over the phone when we told him what had happened. No apology or partial refund offered for the trouble. Will definitely be booking through Airbnb next time we vacation down the shore."

"If I could give this agency zero stars I would. My parents encountered a laundry list of issues with their rental upon checking in, and the way they were spoken to after voicing their concerns is quite honestly despicable. The person they spoke to is named Ed Clement. The concerns included but are not limited to shattered glass on the deck from a broken table top, a curtain rod that looked like it was going to fall out of the wall due to missing bolts, and a dishwasher that was clearly broken. The place looked like the inside of a frat house, and I wish I could post pictures with this review because the ones I took would paint a pretty good picture of the condition of the house. Anyway, all that Ed could offer when my mom called was laughter and basically telling her to get over it for lack of a better word. But here is the kicker. My dad decided to drive to home Depot and purchase some materials to somewhat salvage the broken table. It was the only thing that could hold up the umbrella, and we wanted to be able to sit outside with some shade. As soon as he fixed it himself, someone showed up from the agency to repair it. However, this was 2 DAYS after checking in and there was no prior communication to confirm they were going to fix the table. My mom also called someone else from the agency (don't remember their name) to let them know how Ed spoke to her along with the concerns about the house, and was offered no apology or partial refund for the hassle. Do not recommend this agency, as the people who work there are too lazy to care about their clients or do their job."
