"Love this quiet and relaxing campground. Site 104 is my fave. The view of the pond is serene. It may not have all the fancy amenities but that's the plus for me. I just want to kick back and relax. Only down fall is wifi. Very slow"

"This was a great campground close to home for a weekend trip with the grandkids(ages 6-12). They were asking to stay longer. Lots to keep them busy…pool, fishing, mini golf, tennis, basketball and kids axe throwing hosted by the activity director! Staff was friendly. Bath House was clean. Grandkids want to go back again. Great bang for the buck. Cabin was small, but was perfect for a short trip. Cabin was very clean."

"Cute little campground in partial woods and open space. Great views of small lake and cows in adjacent field. Plenty of sites with activities for kids with beautiful pool and goofy Golf course. Fishing in small lake and large pavilion and cute store with amenities shirts and toys. Short walking trail to Monroeville Winery, a must do if you’re camping there!"

"Went for a family reunion at Old Cedar. It was rainy but no storms in the area. The kids were all wet from the rain so we asked them to open the pool but they refused. They say they have a game room but it consist of a Ms. Pac Man and a pool table. We paid $10 a head to get in so they made over $500 that day. I was very disappointed."

"It was our first time and Old Cedar and we had a great time! (Two adults, two kids, two dogs). We stayed lakefront and the site was spacious enough and wooded, which helped with privacy. There are some sites that face the cow pasture if you want an interesting view but there are no trees/shade. It was a bit rainy this weekend but thankfully the camp’s wi-fi was strong and we were able to stream movies at our site. Mr. Softee rolls thru on Saturday nights. The staff was very friendly, especially Matt the owner. Everyone we met was nice and respectful. You can walk to Elephant Swamp Trail for a nice hike thru the woods, and you can walk to Monroeville Winery directly from the campground. It’s a quiet campground but it has everything you need for a relaxing weekend. We’ll be back!"
