Hampton Inn Fishkill

"I was in town on business. Did not get to enjoy any of the amenities. This includes the free breakfast as I was out the door by 545am. But the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful."

"Minor details of the room could be fixed. Surprisingly, the heat and A/C works to good (not complaining either). Breakfast was good. The location on the GPS is off, so be mindfulness. customer service was excellent. Apparently, we had a black out, but it didn't affect us. Would recommend booking here."

"The only Cons I would say about my room/stay is- 1) The shower. I don't know who thought a half glass wall is a good idea,but it's not. Water would come out and I had to use towels every night to put outside the glass section.Also I felt like I was going to slip everytime I got in. Maybe some anti- Slip built in mat in the shower? There also should be an exhaust fan that works in the bathroom. 2) I know you get what you get having a dog friendly hotel, but there were multiple stains on the carpet. It didn't bother me too much because I always walk with slippers around any hotel, but the shower actually bothered me more. Pros, it's in a nice area, I felt safe at night. Customer service is really good. They text you and ask how your stay is, Air conditioner runs well, The closet set up is big enough to put a medium dog bed in and out of the way My bed was pretty comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, maybe if I do the shower won't have half a wall of glass and half the floor covered in water. I brought my own pillow so I can't comment on theirs, and no bed bugs so that is always a plus. I also got fresh towels and I could smell they used bleach and I could tell it was clean. I wanted to give the room 3 stars just because of the whole shower thing but didn't think that would be too fair."

"This is going to be a mostly positive review of our stay at the Hampton Inn at Fishkill. However, I need to start off yet another Hampton Inn review complaining about their Digital Key program. I have stayed at a number of their hotels and the Digital Key via their app never works. I always end up having to go to the front desk to check in and that is completely the opposite of what the program's benefit is all about. This is not the fault of the Fishkill location but rather a huge problem with the overall program itself. I wish Hilton would get their act together and fix the issues. Now that I am done with that, let me talk about our stay at the Fishkill location. The most disturbing part of our stay happened on arrival. You pull into the lot and see an abandoned building and lots of construction. We quickly figured out we needed to go around back to find the hotel that was open. Though we selected our room in advance on the Hilton App, our digital key was never delivered electronically and we had to manually check in at the front desk. The woman who greeted us was exceptionally friendly and the process was effortless. We were invited to have some cookies and beverage that were placed on a nearby table. That was greatly appreciated. Our room was very nice, though a bit on the small side, with two double beds and an upholstered chair. The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. There was no noise from adjoining rooms or the parking lot. The worst aspect of this location was the rug in the hallways. It was horrendous, filled with all kinds of stains. I am really surprised that it hasn't been pulled up and replaced. We intended to use the pool but didn't get the opportunity to do so. However, the inside pool is quite large and looked clean and inviting. The included breakfast was pretty darn good with a selection of hot items (eggs, potatoes, sausage) and two waffle makers. There were muffins and bagels, yogurt and cereal. The coffee was quite good. This is the nice little extras I expect from the Hampton Inn brand. In all, it was a really nice stay."
