"Stayed here on a rainy night in June while doing an AT thru-hike. Owner is just terrific, will pick up and drop off, does your laundry. Nice town, everything you could need in walking distance. Rooms a bit small, but neat, well-kept and clean. Highly recommended."
"I stayed here back on June 23rd, while I was thru hiking the Appalachian Trail. The owner came and picked us up from the trailhead, free of charge, did our stinky laundry, and even picked up another friend who wasn't even staying there. The room was very clean, and the stay was very nice. Such a great little place in a cute small town. I wouldn't hesitate to ever stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality!"
"I rated as 3 stars. You really cannot compare to current chain motels. Older style but renovated. It suited the purpose. A shortstop at a reasonable price for the location. There is a hikers box there since it is on the Appalachian trail. Family run. I would stay again."

"Mom & Pop Shoppe snuggled in Greenwood Lake NY. Close to food, supplies and the lake!!! Owners go above and beyond for their customers even helping hikers with fresh clothing and super clean linens in all rooms. Rooms are clean and charming. Fair pricing and staff 24/7 on premises!! Definitely a must see!!!!"
