"I spent nearly a year drawing my tattoo idea which was inspired by the branch of a jacaranda tree. Christian worked with me to convert what I drew into a gorgeous work of art on my hip. It took about 3 1/2 hours to complete in a single session. As far as being stabbed with a needle for hours on end, it really wasn’t bad at all! I thought it would have been much worse. Christian was gentle, pleasant, and professional. He made be feel comfortable and not worried at all. A friend of mine held my hand and I was able to distract myself with conversation. The images are from when it was freshly inked in 2016 and 8 years later in 2024. I still love it and think it’s truly beautiful. I would highly recommend Christian and The Queens Ink if you are looking to get a tattoo. You won’t regret it!"

"CAROLINE IS THE BEST TATTOO ARTIST - I have a bunch of tattoos , and when moving to Astoria about 4 years ago I knew I needed to find an artist I TRUST and one that is able to communicate and work with me, and not just the artist but the shop itself. When getting a tattoo we all understand it’s a forever commitment, and for someone to tattoo my body I really needed to know them and their work. I searched up ALOT of places , lot of places on Steinway that I thought would do good but ended up being bad, so never went. I thought maybe Astoria just wasn’t the place to get a tattoo UNTIL UNTIL I walked by queens ink and tattoo. I was approached by the owner of the shop and an artist named Caroline, both the owner and the artist understood what I was looking for and they communicated with me how much for a deposit and what day and exactly what style. Caroline would draw up my idea and bring it to LIFE!!! She would tell me if anything needed fixing to let her know asap as she wants it to be PERFECT. Queens ink and tattoo I want you all to know how incredibly lucky you guys are to have such an amazing artist and not only that but a friend. I will only get my tattoos done there as they are all beyond PROFESSIONAL/ CLEAN/ and the biggest they communicate with all their clients. Thank you for being the one shop that just doesn’t care about the money but actually cares and builds relationships with there clients"
